Food: we ordered a medium rare steak but it was obviously cooked rare. It tasted delicious though to be honest, but a steakhouse should be cooking the steaks as ordered. Service: it was a very busy night, but our waiter was slow with the drinks and it took 50min for our food to come out. Too long. Atmosphere: our table had an overhead light shining directly in my eyes the entire time. Not really pleasant. Also the bar had a lot of fruit flys that we had to avoid before being seated at a table.

The NY strip was excellent with a beautiful wood fire smoke flavor to it. The sides were good but the beef cuts were excellent. Their service was 5 star. Drinks stayed full, didn’t interrupt conversation but stayed on point. Thanks for wonderful experience would go back again.

Stop in for a delicious experience. Came for Saturday lunch with the family. The interior is inviting for both a casual or romantic setting. The lighting and decor make it feel upscale enough to warrant the menu without being pretentious and feeling like you might break your wallet. Started out with the lobster Queso; 10 out of 10 recommend. A fun and tasteful take on an old bar & grill mainstay. The lobster was big enough to enjoy in the majority of bites without overpowering and making it seem like a seafood dish. We enjoyed the crab cakes with home potatoes, salmon eggs benediction, and the chicken caprese pasta. None of it disappointed! Everything was hot fresh and rich with some nice flavor combinations. I particularly enjoyed the charred spinach bed that my crab cakes were served on. They provided a nice touch of acidity to the dish with the sauce they were tossed in. If you’re in the Village Pointe shopping area stop by and give Firebirds a try.

I have ate here once before a couple of years ago, take out/pick up (DoorDash), grilled chicken sandwich. A couple of YEARS ago or 3... Thought I'd try again, years later since they're in the neighborhood, wanted some sea bass. Paying for the the convenience of not fishing, de-scaling, deboning, filleting, etc... like a real man does & would. Maybe it was my fault having expectations comparative to BoneFish Grill's delicious wood grilled sea bass & their mediocre hit &/or miss side dishes. But tonight here was "woomp woomp". Funny thing is, a "Lauren" TOLD ME broccoli & I said "okay". My wife came home & asparagus was in there anyway nonetheless lol. No biggie, I was just experimenting & trying again. Though I do have to say & admit, at least the fish was good (I did place in the oven for a few more mins). Didn't taste like cod or pollock, but real sea bass, the shrimp was fine, something your 21yr girl friend could pull off that you'd eat. Just letting you know what you may get for $40 Chilean Sea Bass "dinner". Makes you appreciate home cooking a little more. I ate the fish & shrimp after placing in the oven for a few mins. Again, was good, I took a bite of that rice concoction & threw it out appropriately. * hot honey sandwich wife got, I had added greens & tomato to - toasted bun(s) a little more & tried to crisp up the chicken patties more in the oven with a touch of oil. She ate about 30% of the sandwich granted we don't eat out as much nowadays. BoneFish Grill, at least I don't mind paying $40 & $50 for their sea bass alone... any day. Wish they did al la carte with their bass.

Went for a Valentine’s Day lunch, even though they were super busy the service was great, the food came out fast, and the food was delicious! The side salads were also huge like could’ve been the whole meal.

GREAT!! First time eating there for a later lunch. It was a wonderful experience. The food was perfect and our server Mia was as good as any server I’ve ever had!

Stopped in for dinner while on a cross-continent road trip - looking forward to a cold beer and good meal. We kind of got that, but it was a less-than-satisfactory experience. First, the food/drinks. I had an IPA that was flavourless - a little fruity but no hops at all - only drank 1/2. We shared the lobster queso appetizer and it was delicious. My son had the Ahi Tuna Superfoods Salad - he said it was good but the tuna was as expected in the middle of the continent - not great. I had the Colorado Chicken Salad - it was tasty but the chicken was cold and horrible - seemed like day-old rubber chicken. I was surprised that the chicken was tossed in with the salad instead of a warm sliced breast. I asked the server if I had ordered a Caesar salad with a “wood grilled chicken breast” would the chicken be warm, and he said no - chicken on/in salads comes cold. He then said he’s had many customers surprised that the chicken is cold. Funny the restaurant hasn’t figured out people prefer warm chicken in these salads instead of cold, rubbery stuff. I should repeat that the salad itself was very tasty - the vinegarette dressing, blue cheese crumble, walnuts, and cranberries really worked well together - too bad the chicken was there. Notwithstanding the food, the service was friendly but unbelievably rushed. I had one sip of beer and the appie arrived; that was OK, but the mains arrived 4 minutes later (I checked the time between photos) - we hardly had a chance to try the appie. I may be an exception, but I hate being rushed. I suppose it’s a fine balance, but give me a chance to get into or through the appie before crowding the table with more plates. The rubber chicken was disappointing but the excessive rushing really spoiled the meal.

First time to dine at this place and my daughter ordered the Hot Honey Chicken sandwich came with something "extra" - moldy bread 🤮 Hoping she's not gonna get sick! Our server Abby is nice, but that's it! Check your bread before you take a bite!
