Customer Review Summary
Cascio's Steakhouse is a classic Omaha steakhouse known for its tender, well-seasoned steaks and reasonable prices. While the ribeye and prime rib received praise, some dishes like the salads and sides were considered basic and lacking uniqueness. Some reviews noted that the portions were small for the price, particularly for items like the baked potato and pasta served as a side with steak. Critiques included frozen appetizers and a lack of flavor in certain menu items, such as the lasagna sauce. Despite some disappointments, many patrons appreciated the warm atmosphere, friendly service, and the overall dining experience, highlighting it as a great communal restaurant with loyal customers returning regularly. Overall, the restaurant earns solid 4-star ratings, but some customers felt it could improve to reach 5 stars.

A classic Omaha steakhouse with everything you’d expect: a fantastic, tender, well seasoned ribeye; family-owned/operated with Alfie there to greet you at the door; plenty of great Italian food options; and, of course, a side of pasta w/ that sweet Omaha marinara accompanying the steak. Prices are reasonable given the quality/quantity of food. If you want to try an Omaha classic, this is one of the few remaining originals.

Solid 4 star restaurant. Frozen like grocery store tiramisu, salads are quite original and basic. Nothing wrong with a basic salad, but it's not going to get you 5 stars. Prime rib was good, the sauce was a nice touch but a true fan would want the sauce separate. Having horse radish was a huge plus, and it was some quality horse radish. Fries weren't anything special. Baked potato was good but again just a potato, basic. It was edible because they provided tubes of sour cream and store butter (it was a quality salted butter). To attain 5 stars maybe make a house dressing or dressed baked potato. The prices were a little high. Just doing the math on a few items and they were definitely being a little greedy on some items. It's ok to be pricey, but you gotta back that price up with something over your competition. I didn't try everything, but saw enough that it's a solid 4 stars.

My experience was OK. The food was decent, however, the portions were very small. Additionally, it was a little odd to have pasta served as a side when you ordered the steak dinner. The baked potato was small for the price of the meal and I ordered my steak to be cooked medium well and it came out a little overdone.

Classic Italian style steakhouse with delicious food. Great luncheon menu. I had the steak sandwich on my last visit and it was amazing! Steak was so tender I could cut it with my fork! Highly recommend!!

I'll start with the positive our waitress was super sweet . The steak was well seasoned, but for the price of the steak, it was very small and not worth it, in my opinion. You do get free bread, which apparently most restaurants dont do anymore, so that was nice. Also for the loaded baked potato there was a heaping mound of sour cream and a few measly pieces of bacon and cheese that they charge you extra for, which wouldn't be an issue if it was actually loaded. As for the toasted raviolis, they weren't horrible, but for the price, i could easily go to the store and buy ravioli's and make them for half of what they are charging and they would probably have more flavor. They also didn't have the full dinner menu, so there wasn't a whole lot to choose from .when i called about making a reservation, they should have made me aware that they weren't serving the full menu, and i would have gone somewhere else . The lasagna sauce tasted like it came from a can with baked parm cheese from a plastic bottle and very little noodles . For the price , i was expecting a big plate of lasagna, and it was more like a side dish at best .Reading the reviews, i had high hopes, and this place just didn't do it. The salad was just iceburg lettuce in a bowl with 3 black olives and some banana peppers. It seemed like they were just trying to get rid of what they had left over in the kitchen and throw it into anything they possibly could . Definitely not the best in Omaha! Go somewhere else and get your moneys worth Cheers!

Beautiful restaurant. Great service. Food was a little disappointing, like any other restaurant the steaks just don't have the quality they used to. The Red Sox was more like tasteless red water. Mozzarella sticks were obviously the Frozen type from a bag. It's a little pricey for the quality

Cascio's is great...every single time. We get to Omaha a couple of times a year to visit family and we ALWAYS go for steaks. Alfie and the rest of the staff always treat us like we're guests in their home. Dinner always starts with hot breadsticks and a salad with real Roquefort dressing, followed by a side of pasta, a potato and a perfect steak. And all of that for much less than I've ever paid at home in DC. When I want to go out for steaks, this is always exactly what I'm hoping to get. It's obvious why they have so many loyal regular customers, and such crowded reservations lists on major holidays. Cascio's is certainly not the fanciest steakhouse in the world, but if you're looking for the kind of place where everyone else there is a regular and you'll want to be too, then this really is your place. You'll keep coming back like we do!
