Customer Review Summary
Brother Sebastian's receives mixed reviews regarding its food and atmosphere. Some patrons find the prices high for the quality, mentioning mediocre steaks and a sad salad bar. Others rave about the prime rib and uniquely styled decor, which some describe as reminiscent of a monastery and appealing to older generations. Service is frequently praised, with waitstaff being attentive and knowledgeable. While some dishes were excellent, like the crab and NY peppered strip steak, there were complaints about inconsistencies, like dry lobster or steak being cooked incorrectly initially. Overall, Brother Sebastian's is noted for its nice ambiance, unique experience, and potential for great food, though some improvements could be made in consistency and value for money.

The food is too expensive to be this mediocre. Fiancé ordered a steak blue rare and it was probably more on the medium side. The waitress was great and immediately took it back and they made a new one. Salad bar is sad and it’s funny they imply you can go up one time. The decor is cheesy. I saw another review saying this was a place your grandparents would love and that couldn’t be more spot on. Lobster was a bit dry, but the crab was delicious.

Wonderful amazing discovery! The best steaks, peppered New York strip, the Kings cut prime rib, the Lambrusco, the wonderful shrimp scampi appetizer! Everything was so delicious and our waiter Luke was so informative and knowledgeable as well as wonderful timing! The atmosphere is warm, cozy, romantic and just relaxing!

I’d give ask three of these ratings more stars if I could. Food was fantastic! I had the prime rib and it was awesome! Two of my kid’s with me had steaks and they loved them. Well worth the price. Not just the food, but the atmosphere as well. Looks like and old monastery and inside is the same. Seating rooms include book room, wine cellar, and others.

We had a party of six for dinner last night at Brother Sebastian’s Steakhouse. We could not get a reservation until 7:30pm. Arrived before reservation and waited for our table is ready. While waiting, looked into their wine room by reception. Looks like they have an extensive list of wine. Prices per bottle ranges from $20 to over $200. Great atmosphere and ambiance, each dining room is decorated with steak or wine house decor. Our waiter was busy, until we found out the restaurant closes at 8pm. By the time we ordered and was able to get to salad bar,the staff was ready to take salad items away to clean up. Besides this issue, we had a good time and good food. I ordered the NY Pepperstrip steak. It was cooked to my request. The steak was tender, tasty, and right temperature. All of our entrees came as ordered. In summary, Brother Sebastian’s Steakhouse is great restaurant to come for steaks at between mid to high end price range. I would definitely go back when we visit Omaha.

What a great experience. My first trip.and my wife's second. Needless to say it lived up to the hype. I had the prime rib. Hands down the best I've ever had anywhere. The prime rib with the hollandaise is a must get! My wife's filet was cooked to perfect medium rare. It had amazing grill marks and the perfect tenderness. This place is a must try. Will be back again to see what else the menu has to offer. Also, 10/10 for our waiter. Super friendly, personable, enthusiastic, and genuine.

My wife and I decided to have a our 3 year anniversary here at brother sebastians. First time guests and the first thing we notice is the decor and the catholic setting. It was really cool how the waiters and waitresses also dressed up in full outfits and everything as well to go along with the theme. The food was honestly delicious 😋 there was just some minor flaws with the sides Like the green beans but other than that amazing steak. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. The sauces were amazing. Paired really well with the peppercorn sauce. And the prime rib was okay. It was perfectly cooked but I would have respected them more I'd they removed out the center fat cap that doesn't render well in the oven. But other than that we will be coming back. Salad bar was a plus.

We were out like many tonight celebrating Valentine’s Day, and even though I’m sure the staff was exhausted by the holiday, our server Greg was phenomenal. He had good recommendations, he was super knowledgeable, and attentive. Overall the salad bar was clean and delicious, the steak melted in my mouth, and my glass of wine was poured heavy. I’ll be returning for sure, thank you to the staff for making our late reservation still feel amazing!

First time dining at Brother Sebastian's. Friend and I came to celebrate 15 years of friendship, and what better than treating ourselves to some delicious food and trying frog legs for the first time. Everything was cooked perfectly and well seasoned. The interior felt like a maze , but seeing all the different sitting sections and how all are styles different made it much a unique experience.
