Customer Review Summary
Misty's Restaurant & Lounge offers a mixed dining experience. Many patrons praise the excellent service and cozy atmosphere. The food quality, however, varies significantly. Some guests enjoyed flavorful main dishes like Grilled Shrimp Alfredo and prime rib. Others found the steak tough and lacking flavor, with high prices not justified by the food quality. Additionally, issues like poor bathroom conditions and incorrect orders have been noted. Highlights include tasty appetizers and a good wine list, but some specific dishes, like the lobster mac and cheese, received criticism. Overall, while the ambiance and service are often commended, the food quality has elicited diverse opinions.

Excellent date night! Service was outstanding, portions were great, and food was delicious. We started with the bruschetta as an appetizer and it was perfect. I got the Grilled Shrimp Alfredo and my partner got the Filet Mignon for our main dishes. Both were incredible, so much flavor and the filet was incredibly tender and cooked just as requested! Great wine list and the server answered all our questions and was super attentive! Definitely not cheap but thought it was well worth it; would love to come back soon to try more.

Impeccable service but unremarkable steak, unfortunately. I ordered 17oz ribeye and for my boyfriend, NY strip. It is not bad by any means, but little tough and not so flavorful. Also, the only option for side dish is potatoes. As mentioned above, I appreciated great service here. The server brought me a new cup of soda when it was half empty and informed us that the kitchen was backed up. Salad was big and bread was good, too. My bf also appreciated sports/huskers memorabilia as a sports fan.

The prime rib was the best I've had in a long time. I had the kings cut, which was well portioned with little fat. Very tasty. We ordered the Escargot for my mom, and it was wonderful prepared. The first time I've had them, and I was impressed. Very tender and flavorful.

Despite the uninteresting exterior, the interior of this restaurant completely blew me away. I much prefer this location than the downtown one. So spacious and cozy, with the finest music playing and the perfect amount of lighting. We got the lobster mac n cheese, and the Misty's deluxe cheeseburger. Portions were huge and flavors were delightful. I almost wish they opened during the mornings for special breakfast and brunch items. 🥲

High price doesn't always mean exceptional dining. Ordered rare prime rib but was medium well and served room temperature. Plate was not even warm. Had some chewy parts not even edible. Was a disappointment being the prime rib is said to be what this place is known for. Maybe was an off night. It definitely was not busy and about 6-7pm. Server was great. Romantic dining spot, yes. Food, not so much based on our experience. Spouse enjoyed the escargot. Said was "hot" but tough. Very on par with cheaper restaurants except with atmosphere. Because of the high prices and lackluster food for those prices here I will choose a more affordable restaurant our next time out.

Everything tastes like MSG. 5 star prices for 1 star quality. $35 for a small plate of pre frozen, over breaded, under cooked shrimp. They had 2 radio stations playing clashing music so even the ambience was a fail. The service was good but the quality is not on par with the very high prices.

#1 The men’s bathroom is a mess, holes behind the toilet, the door does not stay closed #2 My wife and I both had Prime rib dips, which were filled with onions, and we both asked for no onions. We each had one glass of wine, and our bill was over $60 to eat there. This place has seen its better days, I would guess that the Milton’s would not be happy with this mess, if they were still around. I do remember when the food & service was impeccable. It’s very sad to see what’s happened. Mike Lincoln Ne

I had been to other Misty's locations over the years but, never the original. Very one of a kind atmosphere. I do not recommend their lobster mac and cheese. They definitely need to revamp this dish. But, the appetizer and drink and bisque was fabulous.
