Hallam Steakhouse

Today, I stopped by Hallam Steakhouse for lunch, and they had a fried chicken lunch special that really hit the spot. The fried chicken was exactly what you’d hope for—crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, with just the right amount of seasoning. Paired with a side of creamy mashed potatoes topped with rich, savory gravy and a serving of sweet corn, it felt like classic comfort food done right. The portion size was generous, leaving me completely satisfied, and the quality was excellent, especially for a lunch special. Plus, the cozy, welcoming atmosphere added to the overall experience, making it a great spot for a hearty midday meal. I’d definitely recommend giving Hallam Steakhouse a try if you’re in the area and looking for some solid, comforting dishes at a great price!

It was packed yesterday, a Wed, at noon, but still it wasn’t noisy, and the sweet lady server was funny, and pretty quick considering she had very little help, but even better was the food, and worth the wait!!! My huge hamburger, with lots of beer battered fries, and tomato, pickles, lettuce and onion on the side, was incredibly delicious! I highly recommend the Hallam, NE Steakhouse, on Main St!

Been there 4 times. Only got to eat once. First time it was great. 2 times we made the trip after checking hours to assure they were open, only to make the drive and there's a hand written note on the door saying they were closed. The 4th time, we sat on the bench for 10 minutes and were never even greeted by staff. At least acknowledge we're there.

We had the world's cutest and best waitress. She chit chatted. She made us belly laugh while trying to get us to add on things and have dessert just like a good waitress should. She was quick and efficient. We ordered the rib eyes which came medium. We ordered medium rare but they were ok. Our salads were fresh. The rolls were very warm. Baked potatoes hot and there was enough butter. Would do again!

Small town establishment. Small town (not Lincoln) 1/2 pound hamburger deluxe price at 6.95! It was good. Great service. I'll be back! The menu looks good for things to try!
