Lazlo's Brewery & Grill - South

This is one cool place! Delicious brews and food with excellent service. The chicken fried chicken breast was SO juicy and tender you could cut it with a fork. I wish it was crunchy but who can complain with juicy chicken. They've got a great patio area, perfect for October outdoor dining.

I got here before a show (1/2-1 block away so convenient!). I had to wait for a seat. I waited at the bar. They started rearranging tables and pushing chairs right up to me, one hit my shin. "Oh! Oops!" But that did clear 1 seat at the bar, which I took But nobody was asking me what I would like. I finally got someone's attention. I told them I had a show starting and told them the time. I asked them if they would be able to have enough time to prepare anything so I could eat it in time. They said yes. I ordered a cheeseburger and waffle fries. I asked again if that order would give me enough time l. They said "yes with plenty to spare." So I ordered a drink and waited for the food .... And waited and waited .... I asked what the progress was, politely but firmly. I just got a vague answer. Finally I ran out of time. I told them I have no time left and have to cancel my food order and just pay for the drink. The server said she had to "go check with the kitchen". So then I had to wait for that to happen! But then she came back and gave me my bill with only the drink on it. I paid and left. I had to wait for the line at the show and stuff and did not get seated until after the published show start. Luckily they started the show a few minutes late. But I never got to try their food not even a single bite, so I cannot review the food. The service was annoying. Yes they were packed, but communication is still important, and I feel I did everything right on my end. I explained my situation and gave them plenty of room to say "sorry we don't have time to fix anything for you. It's a bar, so I can't really comment on the atmosphere.

I ordered a Ruben it was burnt tasting inside and out . Only saving grace was the fries which was all i could eat i tried to pick around the burnt bread but found the meat was over cooked and had burnt spots on it .. its hard dried slices of corn beef .. its looks to be no one scraped grill in between cooking new food items so there was burnt left bits of food cooked into my Ruben. The waiter ofter to replace it i said no im not going to wait again for food it took 20 minutes to get that Ruben.. and it was only 3:20 pm on Saturday i didn't want to wait . Altho it wasn't pack or super busy at time . Waiter took my Ruben off the check which was nice but i would have rather had a unburnt Ruben.

I took the waiter's preference on a flight of beers and then ordered the Smoking Gunn burger with a side of fries and creamy garlic dip. Everything was fantastic! Who knew peanut butter went so well with aoli and jalapenos? Well, I guess they did... It was really tasty! Now, I don't usually like beer (not a fan of anything with hops in it really), but the flight that the waiter picked for me was genuinely pretty good (for beer). The best part about everything was the price, it was extremely reasonable for the amount of food you get. I spent $25 + tip and walked out of there not being able to finish my plate... granted there wasn't enough to take home... it was still the perfect portion for me. All in all, I will likely be coming back here when I'm in town again!

Then we had to wait over 50 minutes to get our entrees. The server came out and said it would be out soon at the 30 minute mark, 20 some minutes later it finally arrived. My prime rib was cooked to perfection but the baked potato was so cool and mushy it wouldn't even melt the butter. My wife's shrimp was good and the grandson enjoyed his burger. Lazlo's had been recommended highly so maybe it was an off day, will have to try again sometime to see.

Came here from Denver. Ordered a bbq bacon cheeseburger medium. Was more well done and charred. No melted cheese but instead cold shredded cheese on the top bun that all falls of when you go to flip it. Odd. Nobody wants cold cheese on a burger let alone shredded. Fries and onion rings were good. 🤷‍♂️ Doubt I would come back. Got home and immediately had to go to the toilet. Won’t be back

This place serves pretty good food. Not great, but pretty good. It’s where you would go for a nice meal without breaking the bank, a place you would go with friends. That being said, it is hard going with friends when they forget to bring one person out their food until 10 minutes after everyone else. Server was super nice and comped the dish, great customer service. Can take a while to be seated, even with reservations, so just be mindful if you have a packed schedule.
