I came here with family and friends and loved it!! The waiters were VERY VERY polite. They even have nightly discussions of how the day has gone/what they can improve on, which is fantastic! It is always good to reflect on one’s work. It is a very fancy restaurant and quite easy to get lost in, but if you ask for help you will find your place. They had live music playing too, which is super fun to watch and listen to. Shown below: lobster spaghetti and one of the nightly chef specials.

The food and service is top tier. This is our first time coming here and I have to say this restaurant is top of our list for Minnesota. The ambiance is perfect. Not too loud, you can hold a conversation without raising your voice. We came for my birthday and they took a picture as well as giving an extra dessert. Eric was delightful and knowledgeable he made our evening wonderful. If you hesitate to come try it on restaurant week and you’ll see why it’s so popular. We loved everything we tried. One of my favorite things were the walleye cakes. We also loved that there were a few mocktails to enjoy.

This is a St. Paul staple! For years the food has been delicious. My family has celebrated a number of holidays here and we've never been let down. Recently, I took a friend for restaurant week to experience their charm. Our food was delicious and we've created a routine to meet here for happy hour.

The service is close to perfection! We felt well taken care of and the server lady was attentive without intrusive checking on us. Relaxing ambiance on the rooftop. Well organized and clean, inviting area. The food - the lobster bisque was good, the walleye cakes are to die for but the almond crust Gorbachev fish special has a lot to be desired. Because we had a not so great experience with the entree, the restaurant comped us a dessert. We were ok with that. Cocktails are good but super pricey. Overall with an appetizer, 1 soup, 1 main dish and a comped dessert, 2 old fashioned and a non alcoholic cocktail, our check came to over $150. I would expect the food to wow me for that price.

I could not speak more highly of a restaurant. I went to The Lexington for my birthday this year and it was probably one of the best decisions I will have made this year! The food and drinks were phenomenal, the woodwork incredible, and it was the best service I’ve ever received. In a way it has ruined dining out for me, because they have set the bar so high. I can’t wait to go back!

Went for dinner with some couples. We met in the bar. Be careful where you sit, there’s a whole weird thing with who gets to serve you. The waitress who helped us was very friendly, the problem came when half sat at bar and half stayed in the waitress section. We assured the first person we knew the rules and would order/pay appropriately and explained those sitting in waitress section would order/pay her and the others would order and pay bartender, four of us have been servers, we get it. To be told THREE more times how we needed to pay by three different people, none of which was our waitress, I was irritated. Moved to our table 20 minutes past our reservation, our waitress was lovely. Unfortunately the food was not great. The oysters were really tiny, our steaks under seasoned, the “loaded” potato was not hot and had a small dollop of sour cream, a few chives and I think 4 little pieces of bacon. The creme brûlée was overcooked. Grasshopper pie and fresh bread were wonderful. The reason we didn’t send anything back is because our reservation was late, we were tired and we didn’t want to hold anyone up but when you’re paying what we paid for dinner we absolutely should have.

We came here for my wife's birthday. The food is next-level and the service is both welcoming and professional. Their take on a steak tartare is Thai-style laab nua tartare. It's incredible. The meatloaf Wellington is amazing, the drinks are amazing, everything is amazing. I wish I had more stars to give. I could wax poetic about this place for pages, but I hope some photos will do the trick instead. If you've never been to The Lexington, make the journey.

What a disappointment. We went there for a celebratory meal with my in-laws and left unsatisfied. For the price, you would expect exceptional service. My husband and I were there a few months ago and had a wonderful time, now after this experience, I’m not sure if we’ll come back. It started out pleasant with drinks, appetizers and soup but then we waited almost an hour for our main course. Our server had seemed to have disappeared and it felt like no one would make eye contact with us as we watching food getting run to other people. He came back once to say that our food would be out momentarily but it was well over another 20 minutes. After the main entrees we didn’t even want to order dessert. It felt like we weren’t a priority to them. I used to be a server myself so I give grace to a busy night or understaffing but this felt like forgetfulness, especially with empty water glasses on the table. It’s a shame since we have moved into the neighborhood and had such a wonderful first experience. Update: The Lexington posted a response saying to call and ask for a manager, which we did… on Wednesday and it is now Friday and did not receive a callback after a host took our name and number and told us a manager will call. The response from the Lexington has also since been deleted.
