The Best Steak House- White Bear Ave

Unfortunately I know this place has always been a staple of the area .. however I have not been here for 6 years and tried it again for the first time and I have to report the food was terrible we got the adult chicken tenders which were so tiny and shriveled up and the baked potato was decent but we also got Philly cheese steak sandwiches had the wrong cheese on them , I suspect lamb meat was used and the buns were rock hard ... Over all the only thing that ended up being good was the fountain pop :( things took a turn for the worse once the new owners took over I guess ..won't be returning unfortunately.

SO glad they are back open!! Same flow as before but they added numbers for your order after you make your salad & sit down. Same crew as before, mostly. Good is about the same. I had the lunch Steak Burger for $9.99. Go and show them support after being closed for 20months. Great people!!

I was there last Thursday. I had The T-bone steak I was very excited to go there since they reopened. I have to say it was a lot better before the fire. My experience was very, very poor. My steak was nothing but gristle. It was the worst T-bone steak I’ve ever had in my entire life so I probably will not be going back there ever again. I was very disappointed for the price of $30.

I ordered a NY Strip and they grilled it perfectly. I have no clue how that young man can keep track of all the different orders he's cooking at once, but he was impressive! Food was excellent and the atmosphere was fun. I'll definitely be back!

So many memories here, the updates look great! I always forget the process here, but the food is fantastic and fast! Staff is friendly! Hope to be back sooner than later!

Glad they reopened! Large portions. Tasty food. First time experience for my son; he was impressed. Steak and shrimp & baked potato were all hot and delicious. Salad bar was easy to make as moved thru line. (Didn’t feel rushed).
