What could be better than a smash burger, heavily salted baked potato, shrimp and lobster tail from a steak house? I’m not really sure! You get what you pay for is a true saying and spending money doesn’t hurt when it’s worth it. My only critique would be the shrimp app was a bit too mayo based for my liking but I still ate it all so I’m not going to complain! This is a must try!

I tried the house bread, coconut shrimp, cotton candy sunrise and the filet mignon with added butter. Everything tasted amazing, I finished everything, no to go box needed. The servers were perfectly attentful. 2 of us were sat to a gorgeous booth by the bar. Couldn’t have asked for a better night.

I recently dined at Capital Prime and was left thoroughly disappointed. I ordered two ribeye steaks cooked medium, and to my dismay, both were served completely raw. We promptly sent them back to be cooked more, hoping for a better outcome. After we waited over a hour for them to arrive. When one of the steaks was returned, it had a hair on it! This is unacceptable. The manager never came and spoke to us. The server took the appetizer off our bill however never offered to take one of the steaks off the bill. I’m not one to complain or leave bad reviews as I work in the food industry however the hair on the steak is a BIG NO NO! We are very disappointed. Do yourself a favor and got to BJ’s brewery (close by capital prime) get yourself a ribeye for wayyyy less and is cooked the way you like.

Really nice atmosphere. Great for 'Date Night'. Seating was prompt. However, the food did take a while to come out. The menu is extensive. Autumn was very knowledgeable, and all serving staff were professional and kind. The wine list was very impressive. Really wish the Scallop Rockefeller would've been available. Might return just to try more items from the menu.

Came here with a group of 20 for a business dinner, we sat in our own room somewhat curtained off from the rest of the restaurant.. The overall atmosphere here was so amazing! Very classy but also quiet. Autumn was our main waitress and wow she is amazing! Very observant to what each person needed! The food was good, they had a simplified menu for the party, would love to return sometime and try something off the regular menu.(As it looked very impressive from pictures) Overall had a great time here and special thanks to the waitresses who made our experience all the more pleasant ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

If this restaurant was in any significant city other than Lansing it would be out of business. It is very obvious that the staff is not trained and has no idea what 5-star service is. Tonight, the restaurant was disgustingly under staffed and they had two bartenders working both the bar and the tables within the bar area. The “manager” with the beard and grey suit was completely oblivious to what was going on with the customers and the short staff situation. The bartender with a beard and tattoos down his right arm couldn’t be bothered to check on the table for anything other than taking the order and delivering the check. Save your money or go somewhere else. This place isn’t worth it.

This was our first time dining at Capital Prime. Apologies for not having more pictures. The food was outstanding and the atmosphere was very posh…the outside lounge area looked incredible. I had a Prime cut of the Ribeye and it was worth the price (bone-in, 14oz, $80). My wife had the Vichyssoise soup and the bacon-wrapped scallops. I would say this is better than any steakhouse in the Ann Arbor area, and is as good as ones in the Plymouth and Northville areas. Definitely worth the drive and the money.
