About Fahem Steakhouse•Charcoal Grill - steak house in Dearborn, Michigan
Customer Review Summary
Fahem Steakhouse has received mixed reviews since its opening. The decor is noted as elegant and clean, but some patrons feel the visibility of the meat fridge detracts from the steakhouse vibe. Food experiences vary widely; diners enjoyed the filet mignon and chicken tawook but found the Brazilian steak overly charred, ribeye tough, and portion sizes for sides like mashed potatoes and grilled veggies inadequate. Service issues were highlighted, with complaints about wet plates, lack of silverware, and poor water refills during dining. Positive mentions include friendly staff, fresh salads, and a favorable experience for the wahyu steak. Overall, while there is potential and some standout dishes, many diners hope for improvements, particularly in service and consistency.

Given that it is a relatively new business, I will definitely visit again to see what changes they implement. The decor is elegant and clean, but if you are paying the prices you are paying for a steakhouse vibe, you do not want to see the meat fridge and the cooking. That portion felt like a butcher shop. As for the food. We ordered different plates to get a taste of everything. Everything was ordered medium well. Our favorite was the filet mignon. It was very tender. The Brazilian steak was way too charred. Felt like eating charcoal. The ribeye was tough, and the NewYork was way too fatty. With steak, if I am paying $45 and up I am expecting an amazing cut. The house salad was very fresh and delicious. The entrees come with ur choice of rice or fries. The fries were good but I do not recommend the rice it lacks in flavor. Also, you get a side of veggies with your steak. The side of veggies consists of 1/4 of a grilled onion, 1/4th of a Grilled tomato, and 1 string of asparagus. The presentation on the wood platters is nice but makes it a bit difficult to eat off of. Overall this place has lots of potential. I hope to visit in a couple months and find better results. Best of luck.

The only reason I am giving it a 2 star was because of the service and just portions when it comes to grilled veggies. The worst service I have ever had at a fine dining steakhouse. The plates were wet, no silverware at the table and asked multiple times and did not get. Waiter had EarPods on and never came to refill our waters. Food was brought with no serving spoons. Asked another waiter and she showed us the hand to wait only to continue talking to other guests that were waiting to be seated. And when complaining to the waiter about not getting the napkins and silverware, we were told there was another party here before us. We have been seated for over 20 minutes at this point. As far as the food, the food was good especially the chicken tawook. The steak was not bad either probably the ribeye was the favorite. Portion size for the Mac and cheese and mashed potatoes were not enough especially mashed potatoes. Very small portion. The steak came with grilled vegetables which is also a side but it was just an onion and a tomato. Oh yes there was one asparagus. I really hope they fix the customer service. I am all about giving 2nd chances but I doubt I will ever return to this place again.

The newest halal Brazilian steakhouse is opening very soon, and we got an exclusive taste! Invited to a private tasting, we were blown away by the melt in your mouth wagyu and incredible flavors throughout the menu. Get ready for a one of a kind halal dining experience, this is a spot you don’t want to miss!

WENT IN with my father ON A SUNDAY AFTERNOON AND DINED IN FOR 2 We ordered the ribeye 3 skewers steaks and the chicken 3 skewers with a side of Tabbouleh and Ayran The service was very good, our server was friendly, talkative and she was helpful through out. The chicken was very good! The meat was good but not as good as the chicken. I also liked the Tabbouleh(very close to what my mom makes at home) the rice was good as well. One suggestion. This is marketed as a high end dine in restaurant, so I think water and Ayran should be served better than just bottles. But overall experience was good

I can't lie, I expected more for my first time. Ordered the Brazilian steak (I think that's what it's called) and tawook entree which came with salads. Also ordered a side of mashed potatoes. The steak entree was a fair portion for the price, quality wise I would put the meat at a 4. It just didn't live up to my expectation. I can't overstate this next statement enough. Get those mashed potatoes off the menu ASAP until youre ready to serve real mashed potatoes and not boxed slop. It's really doing the restaurant a disservice to serve boxed soupy mashed potatoes. The tawook entree was the star of the show, 5 star quality and tasted amazing--not really what I went there to eat but glad I ordered it. Gunna have to give the place a second try in a year or so, hopefully some improvements will have been made.

It was a 3star experience, we asked for Medium Well yet the staeaks were quite chewy. Didn’t have many choices for sauce to pick. We literally got 2 pieces of Asparagus small onion and a tomato as “Veggies” on the side. Fries were cold, rice tasted like something one would eat wkyh Mandi (Haneeth). I won’t be going back ☹️

I have to admit that I was a bit skeptical when I heard that a halal Brazilian-style steakhouse was opening in a relatively cozy spot along Ford Road in Dearborn Heights. Then I went to Fahem and all of my fears were for naught. (Fahem is Arabic for charcoal.) The decor is a much-needed and beautiful redesign that is welcoming and comfortable, and the service was top notch. As for the food, I have one word - wow! The wagyu steak was tender and delicious, I could cut the chicken and beef kabobs like they were warm butter, and the fattoush was the freshest I've ever had. Five stars, too, to the hummus, babaganoush, rice, and fries. I'll be back soon.
