Customer Review Summary
Food quality at Outback Steakhouse has received mixed reviews. Several diners reported serious issues, such as rotten salads and overcooked or poorly prepared items, including overly dark fried foods due to old oil. Service was generally praised for being friendly and attentive across multiple visits, with specific mentions of excellent servers like Connor, Evelyn, and Alejandro. While some guests enjoyed well-cooked steaks and flavorful sides, others faced long wait times for their orders and poorly cooked steaks. A few diners expressed disappointment with shrinking portions, like the Bloomin' Onion. Overall, while service seems to be a consistent strength, food quality has notable inconsistencies, leading to a lack of overall satisfaction for some customers.

We visited Outback Steakhouse for nostalgia, but unfortunately, the food quality was a huge letdown. The biggest issue was the salad—it was outright rotten, and it seems we weren’t alone. Other tables nearby were sending their salads back too, which makes it clear this wasn’t an isolated incident. On top of that, the fried items came out overly dark and unappetizing because, as staff admitted, they were using old fry oil. The chicken was also overcooked, making it tough and dry. The service was friendly, and the atmosphere was still good, but the food quality has clearly slipped. It was disappointing to see a place we once loved fall so short.

Had a fantastic dinner at Outback Steakhouse, and our server, Connor, made the experience even better! From the moment we sat down, he was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. He had great menu recommendations and kept our drinks full the entire time. The food was delicious—steaks cooked perfectly, and the sides were fresh and flavorful. The only small disappointment was the Bloomin' Onion, which seems to have gotten smaller over time. Still tasty, but not quite the generous portion it used to be. That said, Connor’s great service more than made up for it. If you’re dining here, definitely ask for Connor. We’ll be back!

The food was delicious. & I love that they take extra care with my meal being that I have a gluten allergy. The environment was welcoming and clean. The best part about our visit was our waitress Evelyn. She was very friendly, charismatic, and was on top of making our visit a good experience.

The service here is good. We were seated quickly and our waitress was just the right amount of attentive. My wife and I both ordered the Outback burger. Our food came quickly, and the quality was on par with what you would expect from a chain restaurant. I ordered fries with my burger, and I was glad I did. I almost ordered the loaded mashed potatoes that my wife got with hers for an upcharge. The upgraded side came with a few stray hairs in it. Needless to say, she lost her appetite real quick and wasn't able to stomach finishing her meal. My fries on the other hand, were follicle free. I'd assume that if she were rating the restaurant, that it would be a 1 star ⭐

Evelyn was so bubbly and great! She didn’t over sell, but was knowledgeable about the menu to offer an appetizer and drinks. She told us about the bread and how it’s made-we loved it and her. Employee of the Month!!!

The Good: our server was great. Super kind. Super attentive. She was busy and kept our drinks full and gave us updates. The Bad: We ordered 2 Filets medium rare, one a 6 oz and one a 8 oz. It took FOREVER for it to first come out. We must have waited 30-40 minutes for our main course. Again, they were busy, so whatever we understood. But when our steaks came out, the 6 oz was rare. Point blank. Just rare. The 8 oz was cold. A little undercooked but cold. So we kindly asked to get them cooked right. Again, the server was awesome. She apologized and brought them back. The chef and/or manager came out said new ones were on the grill. Then those came out 5 min later. We cut into them and both were rare. Like rare. Toasted the outside of the steak and left it rare. We decided to just call it quits. Asked for the check and left. We weren’t trying to cause a scene. We had already been there over an hour and half. They obviously could not cook a steak medium rare, so we decided to just cash out and leave. I think they need more training in the kitchen. Our total bill was $175ish. So we didn’t even get a credit of anything.

We come in at least once a week and we always get great service and food. Kayla is the best! They are all great! Wish they would bring back the onion soup and steak tacos!
