Carson's American Bistro

I almost didn't want to make this review because I want to keep Carson's all to myself, but that wouldn't be very fair so here I am. My husband and I love Carson's. We have gone several times and every item has always exceeded expectations and the price point is great for the quality you are receiving. Their customer service is also top tier and I cannot wait to go back! If that's not enough, I am attaching some photos from our latest visit to really seal the deal.

Carson’s is a hidden gem! Their happy hour is fantastic, with delicious items priced at $5, $7, or $9, and drink deals that make it even better. I love the $5 truffle fries and mac and cheese. Unlike many places, the truffle flavor in these fries really stands out, and the dipping sauce pairs perfectly. The complimentary bread (when offered) is super soft, flavorful, and served with a unique, smooth purple-hued butter that’s naturally colored. I also recommend the $7 spinach and artichoke dip - it comes with plenty of chips. The tator tots are worth a try too! It’s not an actual tator tot but like crispy potato ball. The staff is attentive, the atmosphere is classy, and the bar area has two TVs usually playing sports.

My friend ordered the SESAME CHILE TUNA, and we will not recommend it - it is not worth the price. I ordered the CARSON'S SEARED RIBEYE. It's not the best that I had before. My other friend ordered the PARMESAN CRUSTED WHITEFISH - we strongly recommend it!

Wow! What a pleasant surprise! They run a scratch kitchen and it makes a world of difference. The food was amazing. Our server was knowledgeable and made a great recommendation. She knew the dishes well. I will definitely be back if I’m ever in the area again!

The restaurant was a bit loud, but the food was good. They seemed a bit short staffed, but still made it work. The ribs were delicious and so was the stroganoff pasta.

Not a friendly place. I have been to this restaurant twice and each time our group was not treated nice by management / server. After work a group of my friends came with me to Carson's for happy hour. There were ten of us. Caron's could not accommodate ten of us in the bar area, so we were moved to the dining area. In the dining area we were not able to enjoy happy hour prices, but had to pay full price for our drinks. Several people went to the bar and purchased their drinks at the happy hour price. When management noticed the trips to the bar, he instructed the bar NOT to provide our group drinks. If we come to your restaurant for happy hour we should be able to get the discounted price. It is the establishment fault they do not have more seating in the bar area. I brought this to the managers attention and he clearly was not a "customer service" type of person. He didn't care.

The food was good, a bit pricey. Our waiter was great and quick. We were told we couldn't have happy hour specials with a party of more than 10.. which I didn't think was fair. They really need to put ranch dressing on the menu! It's good with everything! :)
