Our server, I think her name was Angela, was great. The food was really good although I wouldn’t recommend the broccoli, it was flavorless and cold. But Angela was more than happy to replace it and instead I got the brussels sprouts and really enjoyed those. I loved their fall fest mule and their crab cakes were really good. I also really liked their french onion soup and the fact that they provided fresh bread. Nice place

We went for thanksgiving and loved the food! They had a fixed menu because of the holiday, an everthing was served in generous portions and was absolutly delicious. The prices were fake and the Service excellent!!

They couldn't decide whether to leave the lights on or off. My macaroni and cheese came out cold. Like refrigerator cold. They reheated it to over hot, so I suspect a microwave. The dish was supposed to come with a bechamel sauce bit it was literally cheese over noodles. Oily cheese... that's oil on my plate, not a delicous, cheesy, creamy, white sauce. I'm very disappointed.

The service is attentive and engaging with the patrons. The wait staff is always smiling and personable. Carlyle boasts a happy hour that no other restaurants in arbor area can compete with. The drink and food specials are very generous portions at an economical price. With Carlyle’s large dining room they are often open for walk-ins. Aside from walk-ins they also take reservations which is not always policy at other establishments. Having lunch or dinner at Carlyle is always a joy. We always leave satisfied and with leftovers due to the generous portions sizes! They have rotating daily specials that are always a joy to try. The chicken tender platter in my opinion is the best tenders platter in the Ann Arbor area, and the best I have ever had. There are many options for all dietary palates that are equally fantastic.

My lunch group meet. This place is a great as it was 10 years ago! Pot roast and mash potatoes is so delicious!! Large Salads are so filling you have plenty to take home. Spinach Dip is addictive with fresh bread. Alcohol is available. The environment is so inviting and cozy booths. Our waitress should be cloned for other establishments! Plenty of parking. The menu has something for everyone. Don’t leave without their magnificent Carrot cake. Management checks in with diners to be sure your needs are met!! Awesome

Restaurant was spacious and inviting. The woman at the desk was quick to seat us and inform our party of the specials they have. It was rather quiet as the restaurant was not so busy, and our waitress was always nearby to take any requests we might have had. Dresser was a delight, as I had the house made tiramisu, which was refreshing and creamy as it could be. I enjoyed my time, but would only come back once in a blue moon, as it is quite pricey, but the quality, and quantity of food, is not lacking in the slightest.

I don't like to hand out five stars very often, and definitely not in all categories. Carlyle Grill consistently hits the mark. I have never been disappointed. The menu has something for everyone, and everything is prepared superbly. From the staff to the food to the ambiance, very well done.

It was my first time at Carlyle Grill in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The ambiance was great, there was plenty of parking, and the service was fast. I ordered the Chicken Avocado Club on a gluten-free bun, and my husband had the Classic Cheeseburger on a gluten-free bun. The menu indicated that items marked "GF" could be prepared gluten-free. From what I recall, only the burgers and sandwiches had the "GF" designation, otherwise, I would have ordered something else. The food was good and tasty, with generous portions, though it was a bit pricier compared to other places.
