Really nice local spot in Michigan. Unique experience of grilling food on a heated rock! But also plenty of variety if you don’t feel like grilling. Servers had excellent recommendations and service was fairly fast. Price was reasonable for the quality and quantity of food.

Always try to visit here when in town. Never fails to impress, great atmosphere and great food. The hot rocks are always fun and very pleasant on a cool evening! Our server Madelyn was excellent, couldn't have been more helpful. A must visit.

This was my first time visiting this restaurant, and I have to say the service was phenomenal! Our waitress was outstanding—she took the time to explain how things were done and highlighted the restaurant's specialties. The food was excellent, just as I had hoped. I also appreciated her thoughtful perspectives about the debate during our conversation; it was truly enlightening. I wish you continued success in all your future endeavors!

Warm friendly atmosphere with helpful staff. Dinner was outstanding, and my waitress was very helpful . Clean on inside to include bathroom. The manager, Mike, a Marine veteran, stopped by to ask how my meal was. I will be back. 👍🇺🇲

Black Rock Bar and Grill offers a very unique dining experience where you have the option of cooking your own steak at your table. They have a wide variety of meats and cuts to choose from with a range of prices and a lot of tasty sides to choose from. Their house salad with ranch and their filet mignon and ribeye are all delicious.

The service and the atmosphere is always very good. The quality of the meats is fair and could always be better. It’s a nice place but a little on the expensive side for what you’re getting.

We went to dinner on Christmas Eve (‘24), we made sure to check when they closed so we weren’t going in super late. We didn’t even make it inside before we saw the 2 people standing at the hostesses table giving us dirty looks, we then were greeted by the NOT SO MERRY GARRETT. He then slammed our menus down once he gave us our table. Our server, layla (hopefully I’m spelling that right), was AMAZING. She checked in on us often and made sure we had everything we needed & her attitude was amazing, we loved her. While we were having dinner more people showed up to have dinner and Garrett seated them all and he was still slamming menus down and had the worst attitude. He then got upset another 5 top came in and slammed the bathroom door open and proceeded to come back out a couple seconds later. If you’re going to work in customer service, do it right or find another job. I’m sorry that you had to work on Christmas Eve but it could be worse. There are people that don’t even get to see their family during the holidays. Anyways, I hope you have a better night Garrett! Merry Christmas. & Layla you were amazing! 💕

Really cool experience. The rock is dumb hot! Not sure I would opt to cook my own food again. But the food is good and I definitely recommend choosing the black rock experience at least once. I'll likely have the chef cook my food next time.
