The Mercantile offers a beautiful setting with a great atmosphere and attentive service. Many reviewers enjoyed the diverse menu and noted that food presentation is impressive. The bar and drinks were appreciated, although some found certain drinks overly sweet. While some entrees received praise for deliciousness, others, like the pasta and Caesar salad, were disappointing with tasteless or overcooked items. Absolutely loved the place, the bar was awesome, lighting was perfect , service extremely fast and friendly. Food and drinks were ok, but in my opinion it was missing taste. Menu has a good variety of items and prices are fair.

Beautiful setting for this restaurant. The service was great. Very attentive and patient. Our entrees were delicious and great presentation. The steak tips were tender and cooked perfectly 👌. The 🥦 broccoli was chard to perfection. Every dish we had, I would highly recommend. Especially the fresh oyster for an appetizer!! Would highly recommend to visit Mercantile restaurant well worth the drive 🚗!!

Food was generally just ok. Caeser salad isn’t really Caesar. It’s just romaine with croutons. Grilled shrimp are over cooked. Atmosphere is fun and bustling. Service was very good. Wait staff was attentive and friendly. Parking garage is way overpriced.

More attention seems to be on the presentation of the establishment and the drinks than on the food. I've eaten a lot of pasta in my life *rubs belly lovingly* and this was hands-down the worst dish I've ever had. It was lukewarm at best, extremely chewy, and had zero flavor. Asking for and adding salt, pepper, parmesan cheese, and olive oil was all that could be done to make it slightly more edible. I'm not sure what happened here, but it was a disaster. The salmon dish was described to be curry, but looked and tasted like a soy-based sauce instead. Very misleading, but much more enjoyable than the pasta (which wasn't hard to surpass anyways). Service was good, but holy crap, I hope this was just an off night with their kitchen. We skipped dessert for fear of being disappointed with that as well 🙃

It was my Aunt’s 40th birthday and the place was just fun. Loved the wings and Nachos. Pizza was ok .. may be pickles for pizza not my thing😜. Over all my Aunt loved it.

Finally was able to come to this place for dinner. As always, it’s packed here so would recommend getting reservations in advance. Really big space in the middle of downtown Worcester. We started off with some drinks. We got the bourbon peach smash. It was okay. I could only taste the sugar in it. Would have liked the bourbon and peach flavours to come out more. We also got some beers. For the appetizers we got the goat cheese bites. Delicious flavour with the pecans and honey. Then we got the street corn nachos, which were a little dry. The beans and corn were dry with no flavor and the chips were all burnt on the edges. We also got the crispy broccoli and it was really good. For the mains we got the spicy burger, which wasn’t spicy at all. Even the jalapeños in it were on the sweeter side. The burger tasted great but not what the name suggests. We also got two portions of the Mediterranean salad which was delicious and the sweet potato hummus was a great twist to it. For dessert we got the tres leches for the table and it was amazing. Great portion size and the perfect amount of sweetness. Would come again just to try out some more things from their menu.

Made reservations, we were seated within two minutes of arrival. Parking was very easy and close. The server was very nice, friendly and attentive, but not overly. The food was very good.
