My partner and I have gone to the Merrillville location several times, but recently moved so we’re a lot closer to this location. The environment here is very nice! We went in a little late, but the staff was still friendly and sat us without a problem. We didn’t mean to show up so close to closing time, but we live in a different time zone. They were very helpful nonetheless. I had gotten the regular center-cut 6oz sirloin with a baked potatoes and fries with extra butter. My partner got the blooming burger with fries and everything tasted divine! We paid under 40 dollars not including tip, but we did make sure to tip as our waitress Arniece was AMAZING. She took care of us and when we didn’t get to have anymore bread, she offered to let us take home some frozen bread and gave us instructions for cooking it in the air fryer! LOVE this location and will definitely be back.

Overall a good experience. The bloomin onion was far too greasy, leaving a pool of oil on the plate. The Alice Springs chicken was very good, juicy, and well seasoned. Our waitress was attentive and polite, as well as the other staff that stopped by the table.

Want to lose weight? These meals will destroy your interest in eating. And you’ll save money. Simply freeze one or two of their meals and put it on the table each time you feel hungry. Don’t thaw it. No need. When done looking at it toss it back in the freezer. No need to reorder. I ordered more than one meal just in case I was displeased by something. The dinners. Three strikes! There is nothing edible here Here’s the “feature “of one of our meals: Can’t guess what it is? Same here — ribeye, medium rare. There was much more, but this is the best of what we received. The dog didn’t eat any. However, he dines on food, so he knew not what to do with this stuff. Everything was doused heavily with salt, as if to make it seem “tasty”. Even the side dishes were extraordinarily dry. I pretty much stopped eating at Outback twenty years ago. Note I remember WHY. Evidently they’re still serving up meats they couldn’t sell in 2003. Even if true, that’s not an excuse for what they’ve done to it. I could go on. However, I’m feeling queasy the more I think about it. Alright, I’ll true in one more photo. I honestly don’t know what it is. But it’s very difficult to cut. I know it isn’t meat. It contains enough salt to kill tails healthy men. “White-ish stuff” I’ll call it. The green stuff supposedly is or was asparagus. I won’t even try that. When we ordered I was moderately hungry, but no more! I’m going to snack on a single peanut butter cup just so my belly won’t be completely empty. My refrigerator odds stocked with food that I could have cooked but I didn’t feel like it. I could easily grill some chicken breasts. But after looking at this Outback stuff I am no longer hungry at all. What do I recommend? I recommend you eat elsewhere.

Had a really great time at Outback Steakhouse with my wife. The three course dinner was great! 8oz sirloin, mashed potatoes, house salad, and a slice of raspberry cheese cake for dessert

The food was good; the steak a little undercooked but that's okay. Awesome service and healthy portions. Especially with the desserts.

I walked in last night about 9:05pm and wanted to sit down and enjoy a meal by myself after a long work day. I waited for a host to be seated for about 2 min. ( I understand it was close to closing and was not expecting fast service, hence they have alot to do before closing). She asked if I "needed any help" when she arrived. I asked to be seated to enjoy a meal. Her reply was "u can place an order for takeout, were done serving tonight" with a smerk on her face after I looked around to see others sitting and eating still.... it wouldn't have taken me 20min to eat by myself. I replied confused "have a great night"! She didn't even say it back. Thanks Texas roadhouse for taking me the same time as yesterday. Never again will I try an Outback. U can get better service without an attitude somewhere else!

We enjoyed dinner tonight at Outback. Although very busy for a Saturday night we were seated fast and June took incredible care of us. We would come back just to see her!

This is a DoorDash order review . I got the center cut sirloin salad… now I don’t know what to order… Everything I’ve gotten from Outback is so good, the prepping on the DoorDash to a T. I’m just gonna keep trying something different every time. I don’t feel comfortable doing that anywhere else, but Outback is so good, everything I order is just so perfect.
