Such a great experience for our first time. Large party was well taken care of. The only comments were that drinks may have come out a little slow. The seafood tower was fantastic. The oysters were a bit small for the price, but nevertheless delicious. Crab and lobster tasted very fresh. The Bisque was not the greatest. It was too watery for a true bisque. The steaks were wonderful. The tomahawk medium rare was delicious. Filet, cooked perfectly. The A5 Waygu was spot on delicious. Overall, we can’t wait to come back.

I grew up in South Bend in the 70s and 80s when the Carriage House was the only game in town for fine dining. I still come back to visit family, and have been hoping South Bend would get a restaurant where everything was firing on all cylinders--food, service and ambiance. Cascade delivers in spades. Hard to believe they've only been open three weeks. You will pay for the privilege, but not any more than, say, at Ruth's Chris, and this place is a cut above. We had the King Crab appetizer, Cascade salad, the steak frites and a petite filet. Everything was good, but the steaks stood out, as well as the creamed spinach and kale, which was fresh and not too heavy--a perfect side. We skipped desert (too full). Solid cocktails and a good selection of wines by the glass. We'll be back..

This place is excellent. Service is impeccable. Oysters for the appetizer were fresh & delicious. Wood fired steak so good it melted in your mouth. Lots of options. Wedge salad is big enough for 2. I gave 4 out of 5 stars only because, we ordered Au gratin potatoes but didn't care for them. They were bland and not cheesy enough. The atmosphere is clean & vibrant. I can't wait to come back in the summer to eat out on the patio.

Stopped by for a bite to eat after a recent Notre Dame game. We were able to get right into the bar. Good food, service and atmosphere.

This was Stewart at 78th birthday and it was a really good choice. Big kudos to Trevor our waiter who kept the table clean and was trolley on the spot for our every wish. One of our favorite things was the view of the cascade waterfalls in South Bend never have we had a better Wedge salad ! Caramelize bacon

Tried Cascade for the first time and had a very nice experience. The food was excellent, steak was cooked as ordered, wedge salad was very good with thick slice of pork on top. Summer was very nice and personable. Views of the river are nice, especially as the sun goes down. They have patio seating, which will be enjoyable, once the weather warms.

Well laid out and operated restaurant. Lovely bar area. Likely a bigger draw in the spring and summer. Food was good. Drinks average. Prices what you expect these days. We had a long wait despite a reservation as well as a reminder to be on time. Then our seating was sub-optimal—a half moon, curved table set for four and we were bit two.

Beautiful atmosphere and food! I got the filet and it was perfect. My SO got the NY strip and also said his was fantastic. I love the shareable sides- we got Mac and cheese, brussel sprouts, and mashed potatoes. We will definitely be back!
