My husband and I ate dinner here. Service was great. The food overall was terrible. I recommend the broccoli potato soup. The walleye had no flavor and was cold. There was not much to the salad. The mashed potatoes were instant mashed potatoes instead of homemade. The fried shrimp was the best thing we ate, and it still was lacking flavor. If you are looking for a high-end homemade, good quality meal, do not eat here. The price of the food did not match the quality of the food.

Walleye was bad (actually off bad and inedible). The whitefish was very thin, hard fried maybe 3mm thick fish. The perch (fried) was good. Service was good. We had never been there before and won't be back, there's too many better options.

Everything from start to finish was fantastic as well as perfect portion sizes. We both had the beef stroganoff, which came with 3 courses. A salad, soup, and main course with potato side dish. Course timing was perfect throughout the meal!

Charming old school supper club atmosphere. Stopped in for cocktails after having dinner elsewhere & sat at the bar. Guy next to me had the the fried chicken dinner & said it's the best in the area. Looking forward to goin back for the full dinner experience!

Have eaten here twice now, and found the experiences very underwhelming and not satisfying. Our waitress was terrible, she barely came by to get us what we needed, and took dishes away while we were still eating. I needed a fork for the first 10 minutes after my food arrived, and she was very casual about finally giving me something to scoop my food with. She's clearly someone who has worked there for 20+ years and has a secured job. Our food was not good at all, and not worth the price of a $32 steak. It was supposed to be medium and was more than well-done, zero seasoning, a bad cut, with burnt bits that were not edible. My fish was okay, soggy with barely any flavor. Fries were soggy and seemingly wet. I ordered a Mojito and of course they couldn't make it, despite boasting an open bar. No drink menu either, so it's very difficult to just think of something on the spot when they tell you they can't make what you've ordered. I even said they didn't have to put any mint in it, but they still couldn't do it. Will not be wasting my hard earned money here again.

Old school feel. Fried chicken is excellent. Frog legs are delicious. Service is fast and friendly. Soup and salad is included with all dinners

For years, I had driven past this restaurant in the morning saying to myself I wanted to try it, so tonight I took the family and tried it and loved it. Unlike Nick's, it's not either soup or salad. You get both with your meal. We ate like kings. A beautiful chopped steak and mashed potatoes. You even get cheese and crackers to start off with. Our waitress was awesome, too. The best part you won't lose your wallet there. Very reasonable for what you get. You won't leave there hungry. They even have things like frog legs but it's not my thing.
