I had an absolutely fantastic dining experience at this gem in downtown Indianapolis. The ambiance was intimate and inviting—dark, quaint, and with the feel of a cozy parlor, perfect for a special evening. Our waitress, Chelsea, was exceptional, providing thoughtful recommendations that made our meal even better. We started with the spaghetti and meatballs appetizer, which was incredible—rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. For the main course, I had the prime rib cooked medium-rare, and it was perfection. The Brussels sprouts were a standout side—well-seasoned, and packed with flavor. To finish, we enjoyed the chocolate mousse paired with espresso—an indulgent and satisfying way to end the night. The food was phenomenal, the service outstanding, and the company even better. This is definitely a place I’d return to, especially for a special occasion with my spouse. Highly recommend!

Super good! We went here for Devour Indy so it made the prices a lot cheaper and we were able to try an appetizer and a dessert alongside our main entree. Our server, Katherine, was amazing! Love her! She was funny and attentive.

My wife and I really enjoyed this restaurant. The quality of food is fantastic and you really need to try the sauces that are part of most dishes. I recommend the Brie Brulee bread appetizer and the Sea Bass. The High End Old Fashioned is a very nice cocktail. Parking can be difficult in this area, but this place is in a very prime location on Mass Ave.

One of the best Date Night places! They’ve expanded their vegetarian menu sometime and hence me and my partner decided to go for a date night! Definitely pricey (we spent $150+ for two of us) Food and Beverage : The food was divine! We loved everything from the appetisers to the mains. The food was presented so well and tasted great too. We ordered the truffle Fries and Roasted Cauliflower for appetiser. The truffle fries were soooo yum and the dip with it was sooo good. The cauliflower was very well seasoned and the sauce had a lovely flavour with a distinct taste of saffron! We did read the description but were truly impressed on how different ingredients were distinct yet worked so well with each other! The portion sizes are great and similar to entree. For Mains I ordered the Lasagna and it was soooo yum! Though I did feel $26 for it was a tad bit too much! The drinks were fantastic and loved every bit of our time there Service : We booked ahead and I definitely recommend it as there is a long waiting if not booked. Our hostess was the best! Such a sweetheart and just elevated our experience even more! Ambience : We got a lovely table for two by the window and it was soo nice! It has people chit chatting but doesn’t feel too loud and it has a great ambience!

This place did not disappoint- fine dining and experience. We enjoyed the romantic atmosphere and the service was great. It's a place that we would return. With so many places to chose from with great food at a bit more reasonable costs it's probably not a place we will frequent very often - it doesn't make our "hot list" but we will recommend it and give it an A

This experience has confirmed that every time I'm in Indianapolis I will be having dinner here. They were doing a 5 course tasting menu that succeeded on every level. My server, Katherine, was very enthusiastic about the tasting menu and overall great. This was definitely one of my better dining experiences recently.

My wife and I came for our wedding anniversary and our server Zacharias and staff were awesome. We had been all over Indy for anniversaries and new years dinners. The Fountain Room did not disappoint. We indulged in steak, pork shank, Brie Brûlée, truffle fries, ginormous crab legs and the peach tart (new/special dessert of the night). Highly recommend coming to The Fountain Room for any special occasion, plenty to choose from and everything we saw coming out of the kitchen looked phenomenal.
