Customer Review Summary

Nayah provided kind and informative service during a visit. However, another patron experienced a lengthy wait for a to-go order and received an incorrectly cooked steak. The food was described as decent but not exciting, with highlights on the in-house salad dressing. While some diners enjoyed their meals, others noted issues like miscommunication and lukewarm food, which detracted from their experience. Despite some disappointments with service and food, many still consider LongHorn a favorite restaurant for its generally consistent quality. A recent visit highlighted several issues, including forgotten items and delays, leading to a recommendation to avoid this location. Conversely, a couple had a positive experience, praising the delicious food and excellent service during their date night. Another reviewer noted a noisy environment but still found the food amazing and the server to be patient.

I walked in to get a togo order was directed to the bar where 2 other ppl informed me they been waiting 15mins... I immediately grabbed a manager and ended getting my food 15mins after the pickup time....I asked the togo waiter was it A1 sauce in the bag with a few other things he said it was and it wasn't after I gave him a tip smh.....now I get all the way home and my steak isn't well done like I requested but pink on the inside

The food was decent, but not exciting. The people in my party seemed to enjoyed the food. I ordered the grilled shrimp. It came with two sides. I ordered a side salad with white vinaigrette. It’s LHS in house dressing and was definitely the star of my meal. The flavor was well balanced with notes of vinegar, oil, and herbs. The shrimp was way too salty, and I just didn’t like the plating of the food.

The food was pretty good as Longhorn is usually pretty solid no matter where you go. I did come in just over an hour before close and I know the staff was probably worn out so I get it. That being said, it took a bit for me to be greeted and the steak came out medium rather than medium rare as ordered. It was still good and probably on point during the normal rush.

Longhorn Steakhouse is one of my favorite places to eat out partly because it's always so good no matter how many times I go there. Unfortunately this was my first visit to this longhorn location and it was very disappointing to say the least. Initial wait was fine, we got seated. When our waitress showed up we order both our food and drinks because we knew exactly what we wanted from our many visits to other locations. After about 15 minutes of waiting, our food for 3 of the 4 of us got delivered by someone who wasn't our waitress. The surprising part is the simplest food order was the one that was missing, the soup. After a couple more minutes our waitress shows up with some of our drinks indicating that they were out of apple juice and asked about a substitution. She also brought out the bread at this point though we already had our food so the point was moot. She then left and returned with the drink substitution. And someone else brought out the soup eventually. Which honestly was pretty disappointing, because it wasn't even all that hot like as though they simply forgot to bring it with the other food and the potato in the soup wasn't even fully cooked. As the meal was coming to the end and got the check, and asked for to go containers for leftovers, I had even asked for a to go drink cup so I could get my drink to go but that was also forgotten when my card was returned to me. Overall a very disappointing experience from this longhorn Steakhouse when we've had amazing experiences countless times from other locations. This location seemed to drop the ball on too many different aspects that I don't recommend coming back to this one.

Out of all the steakhouses in Indianapolis, LongHorn is my favorite. Tonight we decided to try something new and it was WORTH IT. We added Parmesan cheese crusted topping and it elevated our entrees. We had the shrimp for the appetizer, the strawberry margarita and Cupcake moscato as cocktails (long pour), lamb chops,T-bone steak, mashed potatoes, broccoli, chopped salad and loaded baked potato. We didn’t have room for dessert. We enjoyed our date night. No complaints our way.

It didn’t exactly go well on my first time coming here. There was a child constantly screaming. It was disappointing that no one did anything about it—not even the child’s parents. Overall the food was amazing, the server was really nice and patient. I had an enjoyable experience here.
