Kabuto Japanese Steak House

Me and my friend decided to dine here for lunch 😋 it was okay 👍🏾 I ordered steak and shrimp 🍤 I received more rice than meat the crab ragoon was the B-E-S-T it comes with some type of creamy sauce it was really good 👍🏾 the customer service was great. everyone was nice and helpful I will definitely give them one more try to see how well their dinner meal is .

The food and service here are great. My only complaint is that they bring you your bill and to go containers mid way through your meal. It makes you feel rushed

I don’t normally write reviews but I had to with my experience today unfortunately. Our waitress hurried our order and took our menus rapidly from our hands. I thought this was very unprofessional and disrespectful. I did not think to much of it since their was a lot of people coming to dine-in. When our waitress started to bring our orders. I would say thank you and she would not answer back and she would just give us attitude. I realized she was treating the table next to us in such a kind way and even asking then if they wanted more sauce or drinks. This review might not matter to some but the difference of treatment was absurd. The food was not good at all either it tasted like plastic. The only good thing was the sushi and Pepsi.

I wish I could figure out how to post videos because it would sum up my whole review in a matter of moments! Tom was our chef and I hope that every time we come from now on that he is who we get. Not only was his food flawless and phenomenal but he spent the whole time interacting, making us laugh, teasing the kids (in a good way of course), and keeping the conversation going without the awkwardness of being around a table full of new people. My daughter is 10 and is on the shy side and he even was able to get her joking with him. If you are in the area come for the food but ask for Tom because I guarantee you will leave not only with a full belly but a smile on your face from all the laughter.

Our "chef" was an older, gentleman who kept giving evil gazes to the customers at the next table over. Rude. He was so worried about them that he left the vegetables to cook on that grill the ENTIRE time. They were terribly greasy and overcooked. The real issue was being the only people of color at the table and the chef purposely serving my son and I last! 🤨 We sat in the center of the table so there was no excuse! He skipped over us completely with the rice and then came back to give us the little that was left! Everyone at the table (aside from my son and I) ordered steak. He cooked all steaks first before addressing the chicken that sat piled up in the corner, collecting grease! After FINALLY finishing cooking the chicken, he again gives my son and I a small portion and divides the rest of OUR ordered chicken to the rest of the table!!! Never in my life have I witnessed such pure racism at a restaurant. We walked out without eating. Shameful! I wouldn't recommend this place at all.
