Ambiance, fantastic!! Service doesn't get better than this, and I've been in the service industry for 25 years. If I could do 6 stars for service, I would! Presentation and flavor, 5 stars, easily. We did come in shortly before closing... that said, steak, for the price, wasn't cooked quite to temp, so we just asked it be thrown down a little longer. It came back a little more charred and still not quite there. Burger, apps, and all sides were delectable, however, and drinks were on point. As another reviewer pointed out, quite possible it was just a one off type of situation! Management went out of their way to make us happy, so overall, definitely worth the visit!! Thank you for the experience, we appreciate your team!

Our experience at Hyde Park was amazing. Service was great, atmosphere was comfortable for an evening with friends, and the food and cocktails were delightful. We had a group of 7 and the made arrangements for us in one of the large tables - no issues with ordering or getting food delivered quickly. Our dinner was about 90 minutes which is very fair for a restaurant of this quality and a group of our size. The food is pricey, but it’s also a high-end steakhouse and everything is made to perfection. No complaints and we’ll be back again!

Flaming Banana Foster desert was absolutely worth every bite. Before that the Early Dinner Special Surf and Turf was a pleasantly perfect portion and delish! Old Fashioned was good choice. Michelle took great care of us and created our first experience to be awesome. Thank you Michelle for taking care of us!

This was our first time here and it was exceptional. My old fashion was presented beautifully and quite tasty. The moscato wine was on point, as well as the lemon drop. For our apps we had the lobster escargot and the shrimp sushi. For our entrees we ordered the chef’s special which was halibut, the Chilean sea bass, the NY strip, the lobster Mac and cheese, the millionaires potatoes, the Brussel sprouts. I don’t know why we ordered dessert, we were already stuffed at this point. But we ordered the fan favorite which was the colossal red velvet cake. Everything was simply divine , we look forward to returning. Our total was $400.30 the tip was $75. Very expensive,I recommend sharing. It was 3 of us.

This is a solid steakhouse in downtown Indy. The ambiance is exactly what you’d expect from an upscale spot, and the service was quite good. The steak prices were reasonable, and our food came out quickly. My only complaint is that we should have ordered our steaks rare instead of medium rare, as they were a bit overdone. The cuts were high quality, but the temperature didn’t quite hit the mark. When paying higher prices we expect the steak to be perfect. Maybe it was an off night in the kitchen. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and had a great time here. We were in town for work and got lucky with the timing, as it wasn’t too crowded before the Taylor Swift concert!

Excellent service tonight (1/22/25) from all 3-4 servers, excellent cocktail, food, dessert, and the pianist provided a nice touch to the overall ambiance, he’s a keeper!

Our family had an absolutely phenomenal meal this weekend. Our server and the general manager were wonderful and so helpful and kind. The bacon appetizer and shrimp cocktail were delish. Salads, steak and lobster as well! Our son wished for pasta with marinara sauce and the menu only included buttered noodles. I’m still in awe that the general manager went out and got him marinara sauce for his pasta! Our son could have been fine with just butter, but we were all so grateful that he went out of his way on a busy Saturday night and made our son’s night! Lastly, the ginormous red velvet cake with chocolate ganache was out of this world! We will be back again the next time we visit Indianapolis!

Nice place, decent food, but...nothing spectacular. Just like almost every other steakhouse around the country. Same feel, same food (some with different names), same ambiance, and same prices. There wasn't a single negative thing about my experience here, but it was just "the same". The drinks/wine list is HUGE for sure, but who can afford $699-$6000 bottles of wine? Yes there were plenty of by-the-glass cheaper wines and they were good enough! My steak was done properly, the appetizers and sides all tasted good and were well cooked, and dessert tasted good for sure. But I didn't leave there thinking to myself, "wow - that was terrific!" like I have other places. I have no need to go back, but again, not because it was bad, but because there's nothing there drawing me to visit again.
