Stylish, contemporary Japanese teppanyaki & sushi venue with sake by the glass or bottle.

Customer Review Summary

Kiku Japanese Steak House & Sushi Lounge provides a fantastic dining experience with delicious yet pricey sushi rolls. The drinks are strong and well-crafted, particularly recommended is the cosmopolitan. Service is attentive, and food is served quickly in an inviting ambience conducive to conversation. Hibachi experiences are fun, with great food options like bang bang shrimp, steak, chicken, and sushi, especially the Butterfly roll. While the filet mignon and lobster receive high praise, some reviews note that service could be faster, and empty plates should be cleared more promptly. Some patrons express concerns about portion sizes and pricing transparency, suggesting that additions to the menu make the bill feel inflated. Overall, the restaurant remains a favorite for many due to its welcoming atmosphere and quality food.

Kiku Japanese Steak House & Sushi Lounge offers a fantastic dining experience with delicious sushi rolls, though they are on the pricier side. The drinks are strong and well-made, with the cosmopolitan being a great choice for vodka lovers. Service is excellent, servers are attentive, and the food arrives quickly. The ambience is inviting, and the noise level is just right, allowing for easy conversation without having to shout. Overall, it’s a great spot for a quality meal and drinks in a comfortable setting!

I am a fan of hibachi restaurants. This is a nice place. I’ve been here several times. It’s always fun to watch the theatrics at the hibachi grill. The food is great. I like the bang bang shrimp appetizer. I’ve tried the steak, chicken, shrimp and salmon with the miso soup, salad, noodles and fried rice.

The food was absolutely delicious and fresh! The filet mignon steak was juicy – a true culinary delight. I highly recommend trying it. The Butterfly sushi is also a must-try! As for the service, it could be a bit quicker, and the empty plates could be cleared more promptly. However, the atmosphere was wonderful, and the place was clean and well-maintained. Overall, a dining experience I would happily repeat!

Amazing vibe! Just wish I wasn't so full from hibachi or I would've loved their fried ice cream. Everything was delicious- lobster fresh, filet perfect with the right amount of garlic, and mushrooms. Only thing I would change is instead of stainless steel soup spoons, swap in for some "ceramic ones." Love this place!

This has been my favorite hibachi for a few years and I thought I should do a proper review. The atmosphere is always welcoming and inviting. Just the right amount of lighting. The service is always on point from the entry until we leave. Last night we had a party of two and sat with a couple that were very nice. Our food was very fresh and delicious. We did ask for the food to be cut into smaller portions and had to remind the cook but that was very minor. I’ve been to a few local hibachi places and this is still the top choice for me! Didn’t take a photo of my actual food which was garlic shrimp and chicken combo with veggie rice. So good! Try them and share your experience 🖤

Menu has changed and you have to add on everything. Soup and salad always comes with but not any have to add them on. This made the bill very expensive. Just give me the price so I’m not trying to estimate by what I’ve added on. Also the portions are small for the price! I literally watched the chef cut up the chicken for the fried rice into micro pieces. Other hibachi places give me so much food I have leftovers for 1-2 days. The place was fairly empty when I arrived and I can see why now. If it wasn’t for the sushi I probably wouldn’t return unfortunately and I used to eat here alot. Better make some changes before it’s too late

I am a fan. I was a walk in and sat at the bar. The two bartenders were wonderful. This space is big and has a nice ambiance. All the workers wear uniform and I was watching the manager as I sat at the bar and he’s definitely running a tight ship. The food/ sushi was delicious. Both rolls I had, had so much flavor!! Definitely enjoyed my cocktail and warm Saki. I honestly have nothing bad to say or even suggest. Great job and thank you!

Best hibachi I've had in a long time!! 🎉💯👍 Fun dinner with great food and drinks! Big place with a full bar, a sushi bar, and many hibachi stations with up to 8 people seated around each station. Great service. Great selection of drinks. Had their yuzu sake. Great selection of sushi rolls too. Did not try their nigiri pieces, but the godzilla roll was good!
