Al's Steak House Restaurant receives high praise for its delicious food and excellent service. Many reviews highlight specific dishes, such as the New York Steak, baked French onion soup, and shrimp scampi, all noted for their exceptional taste. The staff, including servers like Sheila, Dan, Efrain, and Maggie, are frequently described as kind, professional, and attentive, enhancing the dining experience. We went there on 11/3 and we had a large group of 25 people. Our servers Sheila and Dan were awesome. Food tasted great. I had the New York Steak it was cooked to perfection, and the baked potato was delicious. The manager/ hostess Kim was very accommodating and a delight to deal with. I would highly recommend.

The food was delicious, their baked French onion soup was unbelievably good. Probably the best French onion I’ve ever had. Aside from the food being phenomenal, I don’t think I’ve ever had such a pleasant experience with service. Our waiter Efrain was very kind and professional. Other staff members were very attentive as well, our water cups never reached half empty thanks to them being on top of keeping them filled. The atmosphere was perfect. The establishments owner even came by personally to ask how our meal was. I cannot recommend enough, 11/10 dining experience! We are only in town for another week, I always try to go to new places on our travels but this place was so amazing I think we are going to have to go one more time before we leave. Thanks for an awesome night!

All we could taste was char broil. I had the porter house and it was over cooked- husband had the prime rib and there was no crust on it and super bland. The best part of the meal was the salad. $145 for 2 meals. We will not be back. Service was good. Atmosphere very old. But comfortable. Very disappointing.

We had the pleasure of having Maggie as our server tonight. She was fantastic and such a sweetheart! I had the shrimp scampi with broccoli and asparagus and it was delicious! The white chocolate raspberry cheesecake was also very very good!!

First off, Maggie was amazing! Her service was kinda and she was very helpful when it came to the menu! The food was delicious, the steak melted completely🤌🏼. Visiting from Arizona, thank you for your kind hospitality.

How do you rate the best spot in town. You can have beef anywhere, but at Al’s you have a steak. Always cooked to perfection. We have never had a bad experience. The staff whether it’s the buss boy or management will always greet you with a welcoming smile. My favorite restaurant in the Chicagoland area hands down.

This is my first time coming here. Went to a work party. Food was amazing. Huge portions of food. The Clam Chowder was the best I have ever had. The mash potatoes was really good too. Beautiful inside as well. I would highly recommend.
