Land Ocean Restaurant Meridian

I love the vibe here. Seating is fun and it’s not too loud even though it fits a lot of tables. We got the Surf & Turf, the steak was good and good flavor…just firm and not tender. The shrimp were delicious and the coconut sauce was delicious! I could have drank that. Mashed potatoes were really good too. I was glad we didn’t finish all our calamari (which was very good with some fun onions and peppers deep fried with it too) before they brought out our entree because we dipped the calamari in the coconut sauce too. The house salad was really good with amazing croutons! The lava cake was yummy…I think it was definitely more of a cake with fudge poured in the center…but it was good. Loved the heath Our server was great! She was genuinely nice and took great care of us!

Quality service and food. The atmosphere here is so unique and soulful. They have a full bar (Alyssa makes the best drinks) and the starters they have in the menu are great. They come out fast. We had the calamari and it was a perfect start to our dinner! Hands down the best place in meridian Idaho to eat or just have a drink and a small bite to eat. UPDATE******** 01-18-2025*********** Isabel and Kansas are a great team together! My husband and I will be back only to sit bar top because of these two girls. We usually get a booth but not anymore! Love the atmosphere and energy from the staff and Land Ocean.

It was my birthday and we had gift cards, so we thought we'd give it a shot. The restaurant was elegant and upscale EXCEPT for the two large TVs showing sports programs; a very strange combo of elegant fine dining and sports bar. The menu also reflects this sort of split personality--burgers, fries, and some seafood choices like Chilean sea bass. One of us ordered the steak cooked medium rare, the other the tuna poke bowl. The streak was not medium rare, more like medium. The poke bowl was good. The tuna melted in the mouth as it should, but the Wasabi rice was really bland. The bar was beautifully appointed but cocktails aren't really my thing. All-in-all, I will choose another valley location the next time I want a steak or seafood.

Wife and I went for our first time following church on a Sunday. I had a salad with a seared tuna (pictured) and she had the roast beef dip. We had a calamari starter. Food was all top notch. The atmosphere was nice. Not too formal but a bit more than relaxed. Blue jeans are fine. The only ding was it took quite awhile for staff to pay attention over the course of the meal. It wasn't overly busy so was a bit surprised. We will try it again.

This is my third time dining here. I have found the staff to be wonderful & very friendly- Isabelle, Kansas & Dustin. The food is also excellent. Love the New York Strip steak & had the Ahi Tuna salad which was also really delicious.

Service was excellent staff was friendly and did a great job suggesting items on the menu. The food was beautifully plated. The food tasted decent. The meat was tender. My pasta I ordered had too much going on in it. It was alright I wouldn't recommend the pasta to anyone. My husband's steak was delicious. Would recommend Land Ocean for a special occasion. I am not sure if I would go back.
