This was a great experience. Very busy on a Saturday night so I would recommend making reservations, but we were lucky enough to get a couple seats at the bar. Started out with a dirty Shirley for her and my first time trying an Old Fashion. The drinks were great and the salad and lobster bisque soup came very shortly after ordering. The soup was really good and I was told that the salad was perfect, not to mention the fresh warm rolls that came with them. When the prime rib was delivered, I was very impressed and the flavor didn’t disappoint. I’m not a fan of a fatty cut of meat but it was cooked perfectly. A lot of cooks either under cook or over cook the zucchini, but this was perfect!! She wasn’t exactly Impressed with the presentation of her 6oz sirloin but it sure did taste amazing! But honestly, that baked potato was the best I have ever had!! All in all it was a really good meal, definitely worth the money!

We love dropping in for Happy Hour. VERY reasonable wine and beer pricing, plus discounts on tasty appetizers. James is our favourite server and always provides us with amazing customer service along with a few laughs. The (new) Daily Specials menu has nice offerings with the same Jakers quality we like, so we'll just keep on returning!

Wonderful place to meet and have have a drink or a bite. Casual elegance is how I would describe this gem. We only has appetizers but they were delicious. The staff is as important as the food, drink and ambience. Very friendly and attentive. Easily my favorite spot in Meridian. Highly recommended!

We went for dinner on my hubby's birthday. The place e was packed. Our waiter was wonderful and wanted to please us. The spinach dip wasn't great, but the fried Asparagus was awesom.e'.. We ordered steak and shrimp. The steak was wonderful, but garlic sauce was a lot. Overall, we totally enjoyed our dinner. We will absolutely come back. The drinks were really good too.

The food was spot on and delicious o mist sat. The drinks warmed my tummy so another good reason to come back. The service was awesome and will also be a reason to come back. It was a bit loud buck you have to expect that in this environment.

Great food, service and ambience. A fair price for great food. Our server, Sherry was awesome; attentive without being doting and ensuring we were not ignored. Ambience is classy and quiet, music and TV were on but not at an annoying volume. A near perfect menu... not too much, not too little and something for everyone. Full bar, several beers on tap and some wine selections. My drink was well poured. This was the second time I've visited and though impressed the first time, I was more impressed this time.

My wife and I made reservations for dinner for my birthday. The place was packed as I have heard. We had great service and the food was excellent. I thought prices were a little high for the food and drinks. But we had a nice evening out. We will come back again at another time and try some other entries. The fried asparagus was delicious, we had steak and prawns I didn't care too much for the sauce but the steak was awesome......if this helps please give a 👍 like..........well this is our second time here and they keep putting us in the back room the family room where they have large parties , the crowd is so loud back there it ruins your date night, my wife had the prime rib it was tough and not tender at all it was like it had been microwaved for a bit and I had the meat loaf witch was a disappointment.........but the place was packed , I think we will stick with our favorite places I was so disappointed because I heard so many good thing about this place...

Greeted as soon as we entered. James was our server. AMAZING! Can’t say enough good things about this man. He is a true hospitality professional. Prompt, smiled and caring. Idaho mule was best mule I’ve had in Boise. Baked potato soup was flavorful and great presentation. Prime rib cooked to perfection. Blackened chicken Alfredo was cooked with the right amount of herbs. Flavor throughout. Best I’ve tasted. Had strawberry cheesecake as well. Phenomenal. Can’t say enough good about this place. Will be back.
