Inconsistent food, but great service. We went here today for the second time. The first time was excellent, the second time wouldn’t have even been able to compete with fast food or a second rate chain. The sides were bland but I would have still eaten them if the steak wasn’t so badly cooked. My medium steak came out looking sad and shriveled, I cut into it and it was well overdone. Just one little pink spot, no juices, just dry. I did take a bite because I didn’t want to waste it but it was just bad. I regrettably sent it back because you know, it’s $52 and I should at least have a palatable steak that won’t choke me. It came back out in the next few minutes barely one step past raw. It was still cold in the middle. I feel like the cook gave me the finger and all the server could do was apologize. So if you like dry over cooked steak with bland sides, or very rare steak and the same bland sides - there’s a chance this could be the place for you.

This was probably the best meal I have had in the US! I got the prime rib and my wife got the pork trio and it was amazing. Our server Kyleigh was so kind and took great care of us. Yes it is on the expensive side for Columbus but it is very nice for an occasion. Highly recommend!

Tried this for the 1st time this passed weekend. Very nice and comfortable atmosphere. Service was impeccable. The beef wellington was cooked and presented perfectly. The biggest treat was watching the chef work. He checked and put his touch on just about everything that came out of the kitchen. Really shows how much the customer means to him. It was like watching Gordon Ramsey on tv. I give this place a 5 star rating. I will be returning this weekend.

Spent last Saturday night at Morten’s at Old Town and really enjoyed the food so much. The red fish was light and flakey and paired so well with the grits and veggie medley. My wife had the beef Wellington and it was a must have again in our book. Clearly meals are prepared in a detailed manner with so many home runs. Meal ended with G. Chocolate cake which was good size and a huge hit! Wish we had been asked about coffee or after dinner drinks but the bartender/waitress fell well short of just asking. Cannot wait to go back and try the other specials as seen on Istagram! Follow them and you will be glad you did!

If you've been here, I don't even have to say anything! Chef Morten is a culinary genius! With a rotating menu changing monthly, you can't go wrong anytime you visit. Leak soup, Salmon, swordfish. We did not have one bad bite of food the entire time spent in the establishment! Thank God, something like this is in Columbus. We will be back frequently.

I ordered the Fall Harvest Sangria, it was the best sangria I’ve ever had in my life. Soooo GOOD! The food was AMAZING. My husband had the artichoke linguine and I had the roasted duck on their apple pecan salad. Every single bite was delicious.

Incredible experience! So many good things to talk about with this restaurant. Sarah, our waitress, was fun, professional and personable, and extremely accommodating. Our meals were excellent, the wine selection was just right, and desserts and coffee were outstanding. Morten, the owner and chef, even came out to visit with us after our meal. Overall a fantastic experience and will be regulars!

10/10 on all accounts ! This was an extremely tasty dinner and one of the best I have had in columbus. Cocktails were generous and tasty , crab sliders - delicious. Fresh sourdough for the table . The NY strip and Ribeye were cooked to perfection . We asked for medium and that’s exactly what we got. So tender . We made sure to compliment the chef on the way out . We also met Morton who was extremely friendly . The Brussels sprouts in the veggie medley made me close my eyes - so flavorful . We also had the red velvet cake which was pretty good. My only issue with the cake is I believe for the price you should get a very generous slice. A third tier even to the cake. It would have complimented the generous portions of the rest of the meal . But I digress - I believe Saltcellar spoiled me on desserts. But Morton’s had a wonderful house made whip cream . Overall ,these foodies highly recommend. We went at opening and got in without reservations but try to make them . They have outside seating as well. I can def see someone hosting a classy shower or dinner party here . It’s gorgeous.
