What a beautiful restaurant, the character preserved from what the building used to be is incredible. Creates the atmosphere. Justin was our waiter and was very kind, and took good care of us. We ordered the Southern Pecan French toast. It was delicious but I do think the price was a little high for the two slices. We also didn’t have a single pecan in or on the dish for it being “southern pecan” toast.

We had a group of 14 dine here and the Millhouse did a great job of accommodating us. We had the whole back area to ourselves, which was really nice. Unfortunately, there were a lot of small issues throughout the night. The lighting was flickering and we had to ask for it to be adjusted and the back area was very hot compared to the rest of the restaurant. The good: The service was 10/10. I really appreciated how fun and attentive the staff was. The drinks were great and the server even recommended their brunch espresso martinis (over their regular ones) and they were phenomenal. We ordered 1 of almost every appetizer and they were pretty good. Most of the people enjoyed their entrees and some of the desserts as well. The bad: Our servers recommended the ribeye over any other cut of meat so a few of us ordered them. One of the ribeyes came out perfectly - thick cut and cooked to order. There were two of us that ordered medium ribeyes as well and they were charred, well done and looked unappetizing. When they asked if we wanted another steak, we were told that there were no more ribeyes and It seemed like the last two they served us were scraped together. For a $50 steak with no real sides with it, I would’ve expected a lot more. We also got 2 of each side for the table and the collard greens looked overcooked and tasted fishy. For dessert, one of the guests said the banana pudding tasted broken. For such an expensive tab, I was really hoping that the quality of the food would have matched our expectations.

My wife and I visited for our anniversary and it was such a great experience! The food was superb, atmosphere was incredible (right next to the water), and the staff was fantastic! I highly recommend visiting this restaurant. It is expensive, but in my opinion, well worth the money.

My wife reserved us a table to celebrate our 20th Anniversary and my 70th Birthday. The ambiance in this very special place, the very professional and attentive service, and the delicious food are all part of an unforgettably experience.

What a great experience! Food was excellent and so was our server Daje 💚 She made the experience even better. Prices are fair especially for what you’re getting, the view by the river outside is lovely as well. We’ll be back for sure!

If I could give a 6 star rating I would. I have never had better service than I had here. I had placed a reservation for the wrong day and our waiter Justin Freeman made it his goal to save our Valentine Dinner and seated us at his section. Not only did he sit us when I made the wrong reservation he made it his goal to make the rest of our night amazing. Our food was amazing, service was top tier, and overall amazing experience. Linda our pastry chef was phenomenal. Prices were amazing for what we paid for and experienced. We will be back. Thank you!!!
