First time here and gave the best scores because server was amazing! However food was below average at best. Some was overcooked and some was undercooked.

We were seated right away. However, it was at the booth by the door, which was way too big for just two people. The server was attentive she came right away and took our drink and appetizer order. We had the fried green tomatoes. It was five tomatoes served with a sauce with a kick but not too spicy with fetta cheese on top. Great choice if you are looking for a southern appetizer. After she returned, she took our food order. I ordered the meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and broccoli cheese casserole. She asked me if I wanted gravy for my potatoes. I told her on the side. The food came out hot. The meatloaf was well seasoned, the broccoli casserole was tasty, and I am glad that I asked to have the gravy on the side because the potatoes were well seasoned and didn't need gravy at all. The portion size on the meatloaf was huge. They serve a cornbread muffin, which was nice and buttery, very good. The lighting was the only issue. I get that the want soft lighting, but it was actually dimly lit. There was a sports bar type atmosphere, which was okay, but not really what I am used to. That is only why I gave the review 4 stars. Would I go back? Yes, I would.

The food was really good and the restaurant was quite quaint. Not quite a sports bar but not real fancy. The appetizers ,steak, mash potatoes, sautéed mushrooms, cranberry wine spritzer, and service were excellent.

Hey everyone, Let's talk about Mark's City Grill. Nice place that I cam across for Valentine's day. I took my lady there because we wanted to try something different. At first glance it was a little off, (not going to lie). Once we sat down we were greeted instantly by a friendly waitress and given the menu. The relaxed feeling that we got from the place was a big plus and made the experience more enjoyable. The food was incredible and had lots of flavor that came as an unexpected surprise. I would easily rank Mark's a solid 8 5/10. The only thing I would critique is make sure the booths are cleaned properly and maybe a bowl for the side salad. I recommend trying Mark's City Grill and trust that you're going to get a great experience.

Steak tips were amazing, cooked to perfection and flavored so well The server Amy was super nice, she recommended the peanut butter pie and I have to say WOW it was so good.

This was my first time visiting and I don't regret it. My server Lauren did a great job of explaining menu and suggesting popular food items. She displayed exceptional customer service skills and I will definitely request her personally next time. I ordered the Southwest chicken tacos as an appetizer and the steak tip lunch w/ collard greens and broccoli casserole for my entree. The tacos were really good and the steak tips were also good. The collards and the casserole were decent, but the cornbread muffin was on point! I also had a slice of peanut butter pie to go and it was bussin!! My only complaint about the food is that I wish the portion sizes were bigger😩 After all of that being said, I'll definitely be back for a second visit.

I hate leaving a bad review especially on a small business but it's very warranted. I ordered the scallops and crab cakes. The crab cakes are definitely frozen pre made cakes that the taste was horrible. But the big deal is the scallops. I know this isn't the beach but at most hometown places ordering seafood is a ok deal. The lemon slice on top of scallops pretty much covered all 5 of them. There fake scallops of course but the part that just doesn't make sense is the price point $17.00 for 5 quarter size fake scallops is just a rip off. The poor waitress was even embarrassed when she set them on the table. The service was great and many items on the menu are great also.
