Service was often praised, with specific servers mentioned for their attentiveness and friendliness. Several reviewers enjoyed the unique drinks and desserts, although the Chocolate Tortino received some negative feedback. Conversely, some patrons reported subpar experiences with service and menu knowledge, particularly at the bar, and issues with food preparation, such as tough steaks and limited options. The Americano exceeded all expectations! The atmosphere was elegant and inviting, making it the perfect spot for an unforgettable dinner with friends. The food was outstanding—my filet was cooked to perfection, and every dish was beautifully presented. The desserts were incredible, with just the right balance of sweetness, and their cappuccino was rich and perfectly crafted. Our server, Kat, was amazing! She was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. The mocktails they created for us were a wonderful surprise—creative, refreshing, and delicious. Everything, from the service to the pacing of the meal, was flawless. This is a must-visit restaurant, and I can’t wait to return!

My experience was just okay. I sat at the bar on a rainy Sunday. The service left a lot to be expected. The bartender wasn’t very personable or like most, friendly and outgoing. The drink was pretty and pretty good. I didn’t order any food because the bar menu was limited and nothing crossed my eye. The regular menu didn’t have too many other options and none of the employees were knowledgeable of the menu and what some of the menu items were. I might go back to stay at the hotel but don’t I try this restaurant again and doubt I recommend

What can I say, The Americano exceeded my expectations (my husband picked this restaurant). This restaurant is very inviting as you walk in, from the artwork and ambiance. Let's start with the drinks: I first order the coffee and campfires cocktail, it tasted like water down coffee, it was nasty (returned). I ordered another cocktail called Life is Sweet (perfect). Drunken Wifey was bartender 💋. The Rigatoni Alla Genovese was mouthwatering delicious. I truly enjoyed this dish. My husband had the Prime New York Strip sear to perfection with a medium-well center. The side of roasted squash was like unlike anything he ever tasted. The dessert Salted Carmel Budino, not my cup of tea

This was such an unexpected visit for my husband and I. Although we did not stay at the hotel we had the pleasure of having breakfast here and it was an absolutely delightful experience. The food was so extremely tasty, portions were just right and the service was amazing. If we are ever in the neighborhood again I would definitely make the effort to go back!!

We had an amazing dinner at *The Americano* in Atlanta. I started with the Drunken Wifey cocktail, which was refreshing and a bit like a margarita—so good! We shared the Meatball Pomodoro to start, and it was easily one of the best parts of the meal—perfect for two. For dinner, my boyfriend’s Prime Ribeye ($70) was perfectly cooked with a fantastic charred flavor, while my Tagliatelle Bolognese ($52) was solid but not as memorable. Next time, I’d go for a steak or their Fettuccini, which they only serve on weekends. We also split three sides (asparagus, potato purée, and fries), and the fries were hands-down the favorite—especially with the dipping sauce. Dessert was the Chocolate Tortino, which was just okay, but overall, the food was delicious, beautifully presented, and definitely worth trying if you’re in Atlanta!

Excellent service! The ambience is very nice, love the artwork. We ordered the pasta made in the cheese wheel. It was a fun experience, but probably should have ordered something to eat with it. We were saving room for dessert! Jasmine was most excellent. She took great care of us!

Beautiful steakhouse. It's located inside a hotel. Im not sure who our actual waiter was because about 5 different people came to our table. The drinks were good. My steak wasn't so good. I was highly disappointed. It was tough and wasn't flavorful. Over cooked. The mac n cheese was jus ok. I told them about my steak and said they shut the grill off and nothing they could do. Very disappointed because make sure our food is ok before shutting down the kitchen. They also brought out the wrong dish for my friend. For the steak to be so expensive they dropped the ball big time.

The Americano truly deserves a 5 star review, but unfortunately the atrocious bathroom situation warranted the 4 star. The restaurant itself does not have bathrooms, so guests must use the lobby bathrooms of the Intercontinental. Therefore, as a business partnership, they both share a vested interest in ensuring cleaned bathrooms. Our server Jada was absolutely amazing. We never had to ask for her, her timing was impeccable. Hats off to the chef for cooking our wagyu perfect (well with char, while maintaining tenderness). Disclaimer: they oil the steaks and sprinkle sea salt before bringing out, it is a notable salt taste. So, if you're salt intolerant make sure to mention to hold the sea salt. I was not a fan of the chocolate tortino. Not a blemish to the Americano. I was expecting a warm chocolate dense cake and what I received was not that. So, for anyone else expecting warm chocolate cake, the tortino is not that. A great experience all in all. I will definitely visit again. I just won't use the bathrooms again.
