Customer Review Summary
Overall, KR SteakBar offers a mix of excellent food, attentive service, and a vibrant atmosphere, though some diners reported issues with noise and table stability. Many reviews highlight the exceptional quality of the meats, particularly the ribeye and lamb chops, as well as standout appetizers like the Arancini and Tiramisu. Service is frequently praised as friendly and attentive, with particular mention of staff like Kelsi and Valerie enhancing the dining experience. However, some guests experienced frustration with the reservation process, noise levels, and table conditions, which impacted their overall enjoyment. Despite these mixed experiences, many affirm they would return, suggesting a largely positive reputation. The pricing is on the higher side, but the quality and service justify it for many customers.

Blown away! We went to KR Steak for my and another family members birthday and everything was perfect! First, the cuts and flavor of the meats are second to none. We love the meats in this family- and had high expectations. We were not disappointed. The rib eye was the best I’ve ever had and the meat temps were on point. All the garnish came out hot. Service was just amazing as the food. Attentive, explained the menu well, and had great personality. Our water glasses and drinks were never empty. Loved the salad and the Burrata for apps and all the deserts were next level! Will definitely be back!

We just had a wonderful experience at KR SteakBar. Here are the details: Service (A+) – Extremely friendly and attentive. Our server, Kelsi, was superb Appetizer: Wagyu Carpaccio (B+) – Good but I’ve had better Appetizer: Arancini (A) – A real winner. The bacon and smoked mozzarella worked so well with the caramelized onions and sweet corn puree Pasta: Maltagliati (B-) – Just ok. Nothing special. Pasta: Agnolotti (A) – Excellent. Very flavorful, and the accompanying pork was very good Steak: 30oz Cowboy Ribeye (A) – Very juicy and tender. We loved it Sides: Yaya’s Eggplant Fries (A+) – How surprising! Who would’ve thought that powdered sugar covered eggplant fries, dipped in hot sauce, made sense. Delectable! Dessert: Classic Tiramisu (A++++++++) – The best tiramisu I’ve ever tried! And I’ve been to Italy many times, but nothing I’ve ever had beats this amazing tiramisu Dessert: Brown Sugar Cheesecake (A+) – Oh so decadent… Before tipping, we spent $311 on a meal for three (2 appetizers, 3 entrées, 1 side, 2 desserts, 1 mocktail, no alcohol, only water). Will be returning for sure!

Great food and ambience. We were a party of 12 (business dinner) and must have ordered the whole dinner menu. Every thing was great - all the pastas, pork belly, meatballs, steak, chicken and salmon entrees, all the sides (brussel sprouts, potatoes, mushrooms). Service was excellent and so were the staff. Good experience overall and I’d recommend this to someone looking for a great experience overall

Dinner was wonderful at K.R. Steakbar. I had been to Rathbuns on the belt line before and it was amazing. I was not aware there was a second location in Peachtree Hills. Service was great from beginning to end. We were seated with our reservation right away. Staff was very attentive. The ambience and decor was awesome. The drinks was ok but the food was amazing. I had the scallops. Expect to have deep pockets for this spot. Enjoyed every bit.

This place was very dark and very noisy. I didn’t know you had to make reservations to eat here (my mistake) so when we arrived, the hostess told us we couldn’t be seated. All of a sudden, a cancellation popped up and her entire mood and attitude shifted. It went from “you’re not good enough to be here” to “let me show you your table” in 0.5 seconds. The tables were very small and the acoustics in the place were awful. I could not have a conversation without yelling. Not to mention, we got a rocky table upon sitting down. So much to the point we couldn’t lean our elbows on the table without spilling the water. We informed our waitress, who attempted to fix it. Then, another waiter saw her struggling so he came over to help. You know what his first words to us were? “I saw your table shaking when you first sat down.” So they knew they had a problem and declined to fix it until we brought it to their attention. Plus, as he tried to fix it, which was rocking violently, he managed to spill our water glasses all over the table. The waitress had to come back and clean up his mess. The food was good. I did enjoy our entrees but I would say that a $20-30 dish should come with a side. Instead, we paid $20-30 for each entree and an extra $12 for our side of Brussels sprouts. The bread was also really good. You can also see from the photo attached how dark the restaurant was- I had to use my phone flashlight to be able to read the menu. Even though the food was a good experience, the service was not. From the hostess giving us the stink eye upon entering to a waiter who saw we had a problem, didn’t fix it, and when he did fix it managed to spill water all over our table, I was not bowled over with confidence. I am unsure if I would come back. Especially with prices like that, I’m not sure it’s worth it. Also parking was difficult. There is very little street/parking lot parking, otherwise you have to do valet parking.

Not sure if I got the right thing but the food was just ok. The garganelli pasta was pretty bland. The brussel sprouts were just ok--they were good but I've had way better brussel sprouts. I also had the spinalis which I ordered medium and it came out rare. I sent it back. They cooked it some more but it was still medium rare. I just put up with it not to have to send it back. I took most of my food home and I didn't even bother to eat the sides. I heated the steak up which cooked it more and it was good. The sides I disposed of.

Once again, KR SteakBar provided an excellent meal as well as outstanding service. Valerie was super attentive through out the evening... it seemed that every few minutes she would quietly appear and refill or wine glasses and ensure that we had everything we wanted. Chef Jessica cooked the Elk Chops for me and Lamb Chops for my wife to perfection.

My wife and I have really enjoyed this restaurant, the homemade pastas are fantastic. I have also had the lamb and really enjoyed it, the portions were great. It is wonderful to have one place where you can eat a full meal for $20 or $200. My only minor complaint is the limited beer menu and no frosty glasses. It's more of a wine and cocktail bar.
