Customer Review Summary
LongHorn Steakhouse offers a varied dining experience, with reviews highlighting both positives and negatives. The atmosphere can be loud and crowded, especially during peak times. Service quality fluctuates; some waitstaff, like Ms. Nicole and Q, receive high praise for their attentiveness and ability to rectify issues, while others face criticism for disorganization and lack of urgency. Food quality varies as well; while items like spinach dip and steak receive compliments, some dishes are criticized for seasoning and cooking inconsistencies. Patrons appreciate the large portions and reasonable prices, particularly for breakfast, but express frustration over long wait times and issues with order accuracy. Overall, the restaurant may be a decent option during airport layovers but comes with significant caveats regarding service and order management.

Quite loud as it's packed in. Our waiter started off strong but got our order wrong, he did correct it quickly. Spinach dip appetizer was delicious. Asparagus was cooked well but lacked a lemon zing as advertised. The shrimp appetizer was HUGE, plan on sharing.

I had a fantastic experience at Longhorn in Concourse C! Despite being very busy, the staff went above and beyond to get us seated as quickly as possible. They truly showed they cared about their customers. My server, Ms. Nicole, was exceptional—so kind, attentive, and professional. She even said, “We are here to serve you,” which is such a rare attitude in today’s world of customer service. My first steak was cooked nicely, but I wasn’t a fan of the seasoning. Ms. Nicole handled it perfectly, listening carefully to understand the issue and ensuring the next steak was exactly to my liking. Her attention to detail and willingness to make it right were so impressive. I’ll definitely be stopping by this Longhorn again whenever I’m in Concourse C. The service and care they provide are truly top-notch!

I can’t remember the last time I gave a two star review. This was by far one of the worst restaurants experiences that I’ve had in a long time, specially during a time where I am so exhausted from delayed flights. Upon arriving to the host stand, I wasn’t even greeted and when I asked how long the wait would be I was told it was unknown, which is fine because I know times are crazy… However, everything went downhill when I had to ask the waitstaff to bring me bread while I had already been seated for about 15 minutes. I had to clean the table on my own with some disinfectant wipes because it was visibly dirty from the previous customer. I also had to ask my waiter if they had the mashed potatoes I ordered after overhearing they were out… She asked proceeded to ask “oh you ordered that ?” Yes, yes I did… I’m glad I was proactive and requested an alternative. Once the bread came out, it took a while for my food to do so as well and when it did one of my sides was missing and the waiter asked me “oh I didn’t bring it out?” No, my full order wasn’t complete ma’am… After that experience, a table next to me broke some glass so I communicated it to both of the servers in the area due to the glass almost cutting me when it fell and being so close to my feet while I ate. Nobody decided to make that an urgency even after 30 minutes of my communicating the safety concern so I decided to go up to the host stand and tell the manager. Suddenly that’s when three people decided to come clean up the broken glass. At the same time, I was also waiting for my steak to be cooked a little more because I asked for medium and I got a rare steak :( I waited for ANOTHER 15 minutes and then decided to ask if it was ready. Again, somehow my order was forgotten because the waiter proceeded to ask me “what steak” when she brought me my receipt. When she noticed I was visibly frustrated she went and finally got my steak which was still RARE in some major areas, so I decided to not to forego eating it. The manager did offer to rectify the issue by covering my tab, but I think it’s still the lack of urgency and chaos that REALLY made me disappointed in this place. I shall not return. Please remember QUALITY over QUANTITY. Having so many tables so close together doesn’t seem efficient if positive customer service is not there.

It's the airport. Overpriced. Overcooked and overpriced. What can you do when yoir flight leaves in an hour and it's the closest restaurant to your gate?

Best airport meal I've ever had, maybe. Stopped in for breakfast. Food was great. Simple few items breakfast menu. Steak cooked perfectly. French toast was good. Our server was nice, attentive and kind. So we're the food runners and everyone else. Prices were more than reasonable.

Q was amazing! I had a layover for 5 hours and she served me on a snow day. Many of the workers didn’t come in because of the cold weather. But Q was here and made my experience incredible. There wasn’t even a full kitchen staff but she got everything I needed. It really was surprising that she was able to do what she did with so few people on staff that day. Thank you Q! You made my layover the best!

A nice steak dinner but beware of wait time. 35 minute wait: arrived 8:10pm, looked at menu by 8:18pm, seated by 8:45pm. The location is dark crammed with tables and seemed kind of disorganized. There would be empty tables but no one seated even with the long time. When we finally did get seated, we were given large glasses of ice water immediately. We ordered immediately having already checked out the menu while we waited and had our food by 9pm. We ordered Flos Filet 9oz with mashed potato and salad, Renegade Sirloin with mashed potato and broccoli, Renegade Sirloin no sides and Signature Steakhouse Mac & Cheese. Steaks were cooked as ordered medium rare and all the food was good and as expected for a Longhorn Steakhouse. Despite the long wait, our waitress was outstanding (I think waitstaff varied so we were lucky). It’s easier/quicker for 2 to get a table and I would definitely not bring a group larger than 4. Would eat here again because it’s nice to have a decent dinner at the airport but only if we knew we had enough time before our flight.

Food portions for breakfast are huge, well priced, well made and come out quick. That's not the best part though, the service is 5 star. From the moment we walked up, the charming southern drawl from the super-nice hostess reminded us of home. She was so nice and her greeting, with a huge smile and warmth, made us feel happy to be there. Our server, Michelle was an absolutely amazing server. Whatever she's being paid, isn't enough. She was super-attentive and has an eye for detail. She was very charming and polite and took excellent care of us, all with a beautiful, friendly smile the whole time. We liked the food, but we LOVED her. Great hire!
