A group of 12 today went to J. Alexander’s Perimeter for my retirement lunch. The service was excellent, very attentive. The manager was very accommodating to our group. Their food was great, everyone enjoyed their choice. All the food came out at one time for 12 people. Excellent job! Thank you so much for making my day so enjoyable and memorable.

I want to start by saying we had the usual high quality food and the atmosphere was perfect for a low-key 50th birthday party for my brother in law. Our server Anna pretty much saved the mood of the event that was being disrupted by the other team members rudeness or lack of follow through. The reservation communication was not the best when we arrived. There were 4 people trying to check people in and they were mixing tables, short tempered, and the hostess came over to rush us out of our table while we were waiting on another server to find our checks/cards. The corporate office manager was watching the interactions explained our experience. That forced the hostess to come and provide an apology and gift cards. I love this restaurant so it won’t deter me from walking over for the next celebration to enjoy a fine dining experience. Everyone has a bad day.

Nice ambiance and staff. First time here, tried the crab dip, it was okay, could have used more flavor. The crab cakes were good. Tried the rattlesnake pasta, that was pretty good as well.

J. Alexander used to be a very upscale business meeting location with great food. The Ashford Dunwoody Location really disappointed me. The Cajun trout was so so so salty that I couldn’t even taste the fish. Not a good experience for $90 without any alcohol or appetizers

We visited this location, after my graduation and we got there earlier than expected; we had made a reservation, but when we arrived it wasn’t busy. The young lady at front, changed our reservation and we had a good waiter and our food and drinks was extremely good! At the end, we splitted the check and the waiter added $19 gratuity to each check. It was 5 people; but 3 of us paid, one was a child and the other was the graduate. I am not sure if that is normal; but o.k. It didn’t take anything away from our experience and we will be back!!

Just had dinner here tonight. It was absolutely delicious! Definitely gotta try the steak Maui, is fantastic. Ribeye is nice and juicy and the pineapple marinade is to die for it. Also, don’t forget the loaded baked potato. Caesar salad and cheese spinach dip is phenomenal. Steak was cooked perfectly. Also, do not leave without getting the carrot cake, it is divine! Definitely got to give these folks a try.

J.Alexander’s Restaurant is a great place for food and drinks and meeting people . The Ambience is very much like a sports Bar. The service is very professional and the hosts are always very polite. The food is very good and flavourful. The quantity is very large and can be easily enjoyed by two people. They have a very special Fries which is very thin and crispy and goes very well with different types of dips. They serve a very good variety of protein. The fish is always fresh and the beef is always juicy and tender. The Salad is also very very good. They have a very long Bar with high chairs . The kitchen is see through a glass partition. Everything is well maintained and very clean. Was a very pleasant evening for me. Happy Eating

My manager took us here Xmas dinner. I am a huge seafood lover, so the crab cakes with broccoli. They were okay, but I definitely had better. but the services, desserts, and drinks were outstanding. I would probably go back, but for happy hour.
