When visiting the area for a week I ended up at the Edison almost every day! I got a salad and drink before they closed when I first got to town & both surpassed expectations. Emma was my bartender and she was very personable and gave me the best recommendations for the rest of my trip. The next time I sat with Michaela outside who was also very accommodating and timely. The view was lovely as well as the happy hour deals. I also enjoyed a “lobster guacamole” and it was a generous potion w/ good ratio of lobster. I look forward to returning to try more of their menu!

We hosted a Roses & Red Perfume Exchange party at the Edison. Our server Valentino was amazing. He was very attentive, made sure all of our orders were correct, and was very pleasant the entire time. Having a larger party can be a challenge, but he handled everything professionally and friendly. Would love to have him as a server again.

Very disappointed. Sat at bar and once order was made they seemed to have forgotten about us. Had smash burger which was very good. However the fries that came with it were literally cold. Seems the kitchen really are not concerned about quality. To add to that the place was empty so why can’t they get it right? Tuna tartar was good but had not so fresh chips and a very limited portion of Tuna. Not coming back.

I'm a woman who prides herself in building community and being a people's person, my 29th birthday was the BEST birthday I've had in years, and I have our server Makaela to thank for it! ❤️❤️❤️ Such a down to earth and loving individual, she made my day and really provided an atmosphere of love and community for us! Thank you 😊❤️

I took my wife to The Edison in Tallahassee for our anniversary, and it was absolutely the best dining experience we’ve ever had. From the moment we walked in, we were captivated by the festive Christmas decorations—it created such a warm, magical atmosphere that made the evening feel so special. We started with the chicken dip, which was rich and flavorful, setting the perfect tone for the meal. I ordered the snapper, and my wife had the steak—both dishes were absolutely incredible. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and every bite was a standout. We also had two drinks, and I have to say, they were equally, if not better, than the food! To finish the night, we topped it off with cheesecake, which was the perfect sweet ending to an amazing meal. What really stood out, though, was the service. The staff were the nicest people we’ve ever encountered in a restaurant. You could tell they genuinely wanted to be there, and their attentiveness and kindness made the experience unforgettable. The Edison exceeded all our expectations—beautiful ambiance, phenomenal food and drinks, and impeccable service. It was the perfect place for our anniversary, and we’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend for any special occasion or just to treat yourself!

The Edison: A Vibe with Room to Improve 🏙️🍹 First off, let’s talk vibes. This place is a whole mood urban, industrial chic, and demurely nestled in the city, making it perfect for grabbing a bite before strolling through the park. The decor? Chef’s kiss. The restrooms? Spotless (we love clean facilities 👏). But oh, let’s get into it… The food? Looked stunning like it was auditioning for a magazine cover. But the taste? Meh. Either too bland or a bit too oily. Honestly, it gave “style over substance.” 😅 Now, shoutout to the waiter they were a sweetheart, but maybe they were stuck in slow motion because the attentiveness was not there. The bartender, though? A true MVP! 🍸 The drinks were so good they almost made us forget about the food… almost. Pricing? Hmm, $40 for two drinks and an appetizer (after having a meal removed, mind you) is teetering on “doing too much.” The parking situation? A mess. Despite the restaurant’s parking sign, park-goers were all over the lot like it was their personal space. 🙄 Final thoughts: Edison, you’ve got the look, the vibe, and the drinks down pat. Now just sprinkle a little TLC on that menu and bring the service up to speed, and you’ll have a winning combo. 🌟 A good spot for the atmosphere and drinks, but don’t come too hungry unless you’re ready for a mixed experience. 🍽️✨

The Edison is ALWAYS a Wonderful place to eat with a great atmosphere, but our visit today was nothing short of stellar! Makaela kept us well entertained and provided an excellent experience. Went above and beyond for my wife’s birthday. Thank you so much Makaela!!

I would like to extend my gratitude to the owner and manager of this establishment for maintaining such a high standard of customer experience. In a time when more and more places serve frozen and pre-elaborated food, making the dining experience incomplete and tasteless, this establishment stands out for its commitment to serving fully cooked meals on-site. My 5-star experience was redefined after visiting this fine establishment. It has made me reconsider my previous reviews; I feel compelled to revisit 80% of them and downgrade my old five-star ratings to four stars after experiencing the exceptional food here. The atmosphere is naturally inviting, but the food was the real highlight, surpassing my expectations. However, I have one particular comment regarding the salt levels. While it's a good source of electrolytes, I found the seasoning to be slightly excessive, which can overshadow the natural flavors of the other ingredients. Overall, after recently visiting 12 states via the old Route 66 and returning to Florida’s East Coast via E-10, this place emerged as the clear winner among all the restaurants I visited on this 14-day trip. The quality of the food and the overall experience were unparalleled. This establishment is very family-friendly, making it an ideal choice for a memorable dining experience.
