Ted's Montana Grill

My two young daughters and I dined the evening after Valentine’s Day and had a wonderful experience. Would highly recommend. It was a very busy evening with over a hour to be seated but Caroline our hostess did an amazing job to expedite our seating . Once seated we met Raven who was the most amazing waitress, she definitely aimed to please and was very prompt with our order as well as all additional requests. Will definitely return when I return to Tallahassee. Michael

This was not what I'm used to eating from Ted's....I lived in the Atlanta area for 2 years and moved back home and haven't seen a Ted's in years. But I loved the bison burgers so when I seen this location while I'm passing through I made an online order and had it 1 hr out from pick up...when I get there right on the time I set i had to wait because fopd wasn't quite ready yet (no problem with that) I'm not impatient....but when I do get the food and bring it back out to eat and get back on the road the bottom burger bun felt like it had been dipped in grease and the meat was just over pouring with it as well...it killed the taste of it and the quality of what I've known of...on to the fries....they wasn't any better half of them were OK but the other half tasted like they had been sitting under a heat lamp for hours....I was so excited about getting to eat this place again but it just ruined me on wanted to come back!

Trey did an awesome job of curating cocktails and recommending great food. Even though he had an entire bar to run plus serve other tables he was in the ball 100 percent. We loved it so much we returned next day for another round.

Had a wonderful meal tonight! I ordered the beef Delmonico Ribeye steak with garlic mashed potatoes and the parmesan roasted broccoli! The steak was cooked exactly how I ordered it and it tasted fantastic! My server Dani was friendly and knowledgeable of the menu and very attentive! The only thing I noticed was the table was a little dirty but other than that I’d recommend eating here and will definitely be back!

The poor service is the reason we won't be back. Sat at the bar rail and despite there being 3 bartenders, waited a while to get menus and our order taken. Also sat with empty water glasses while the three of them chatted, and had to wait forever to pay despite there being only a few other people at the rail. Unacceptable service. Focus on your guests, not each other. I would like to say the food redeemed this place but it was just okay. For a steak place, I figured they'd know how to cook one, but my medium steak salad came out rare (picture). I did not complain, simply boxed up to recook at home. A good server would've spotted the difference in cook temp immediately. We won't be back.

The grilled shrimp on Ciabatta toast was my favorite part of meal. It was tasty and highly recommended. The food overall was okay. It seemed like typical steakhouse fare. I have pictures of menu attached. I ordered my ribeye steak medium and it was well done… so that didn’t help my opinion of the main meal.

Great service. Great location. And the bison filet was on point. They were busy but everyone including the manager were hustling and on point. Great experience!
