I work at a bar in Midtown and decided to dine in at BJ’s today and enjoy some drinks and appetizers. The food came out pretty good, the seasoning was not for me but overall the experience was good so far. I was going to order dessert when I started hearing a female voice yelling obscenities and insults in the kitchen. My husband and I were concerned when we realized it was our waitress who was cursing so loudly. We decided not to get the dessert and ask for the bill. When the waitress dropped it off, she was clearly distressed and impolite toward us. I don’t think I’ve ever been to BJ’s and had such an unpleasant experience. I don’t think I will be returning again if this is how service here is. Management seemed nonexistent and the restaurant was partially empty so I’m not sure what the issue was. We asked our waitress her name and the name of the manager on duty but she only gave us her name: Thalia. I hope my experience in better in the future.

This can be a good restaurant but a few things are wrong. The manager/owner needs to quality control it. Broccoli and asparagus not looking good served. Ordered medium sirloin, got medium well. Server could've been cleaner. Had an odor but maybe was just working very hard and all day. I will go back though.

First time to visit and was just spur of the moment. Not sure the price is warranted for the quality of food that is provided. Quality Control practices could definitely be improved with this place. Started with a dirty glass that still had mouth marks from previous customer and food on the side of the glass 🤢They obviously do not have a competent person at the pass and meal showed it. The salmon dish came out and the mashed potatoes were still cold 🥶 The burger is a pet peeve of mine. If you ask a customer “what temperature you would like” tells me that they have the ability to at least attempt to cook it to that temperature. This is not the case, in fact was cooked well, and still came out cold. Medium is not hard to accomplish even for a beginner cook.

Visiting Tallahassee, FL from out of town, and since we love BJ's menu, we chose to go to the one in Tally. Big mistake! The restaurant was nearly empty between 5 to 7 pm on Sunday night. I immediately had to ask for new silverware after noticing the fork wrapped inside the napkin was dirty. We sat in a round booth and the amount of food on the floor under the table was quite disturbing. Our server took forever taking our order, providing condiments, refilling our drinks, and bringing the dessert menu. She approached our table with a stack of dirty dishes and proceeded to drop a dirty fork onto my husband's arm and then later dripped tea on him as she refilled my cup. I ordered the Mediterranean chicken pita tacos, which the edges of the pita bread were burnt and each taco only had 4 tiny pieces of chicken (see my picture). Very disappointing meal! At 5:30 pm, I visited the bathroom to find all of the dispensers were out of soap with the exception of the sink in the handicap stall. As I exited the bathroom, I informed a staff member (a server). At 7:00 pm, I revisited the bathroom to find all 3 soap dispensers were still out of soap. As I left the restaurant, I informed the hostess and she said, "I know, the problem is we have to leave and go out and get some." What??? Bj's doesn't have soap in stock? How is this okay with the Board of Health? So disgusting! Management appeared to be absent and the staff was clearly complacent. Too bad as we visit Tally often, but unless we hear of new management in place, we won't go back! So bummed as we typically love the BJ chain.

I love BJs food back home so it made it easy for me to choose to order food to go from this location while traveling for work. Unfortunately I should have just picked up fast food and went back to my hotel. I was handed my order, and all the containers inside were just thrown in the bag. My fries were spilling in the bag and not put in a container with a lid. My little sliders were a disaster, not to mention it was all ice cold, although I picked it up right on time. The only thing that was worth eating was the order of mozzarella sticks, which were still warm. After checking my food, I realized I was missing the ice cream for the Pizookie, so I had to drive back and go inside to get condiments and the ice cream I was missing. Oh, and the best part.... my pizzokie was burned! Ugh, such a waste of my $. This meal was deff NOT worth the $ and I'm disappointed. It clearly shows they don't care about takeout orders.

Service was okay, food was okay. They seem to be out of a lot of food items and also advertised in the menu for a special that didn’t exist until a future date that was not listed. Burger was good but fish and chips (2 thumbs down) very greasy appearance and taste of old oil.

Overall: excellent! Brussel sprouts, flatbread, pizza, and the triple chocolate pizookie. Service was great!

I placed an online order a few days ago. I ordered the Mediterranean Chicken Tacos and a Chicken Caesar Salad. They left the quinoa salad off my taco order and the Caesar salad was the size of a side salad. They didn’t even cut up the chicken. Mind you, I paid $17 for this salad. My husband picked up the order and didn’t realize it was as awful as it was. I called back and the manager Dee said she would email me a gift certificate. She hasn’t sent a thing. Mind you she never even told me how much it would be for. The service here is awful and the food quality has declined.
