Went for the lunch special on our Anniversary. They gave us both a free glass of champagne (which was delicious and I don't even like champagne), and a free dessert as well, along with giving us a card that the staff signed. They also put a little confetti on the table which was sweet. The staff was very kind and accommodating. The experience is on the high end so expect the prices to be high but the lunch specials were pretty reasonable

What a great experience, went out on a date night and everything was wonderful. I have been to this location about 5 times and every time it was been amazing!! We had the lobster crab cakes and it was delicious! A nice bottle of wine and a filet. Steak was cooked perfect and the sides amazing. Must get the lobster Mac and cheese. We wanted a veggie to go with it so we tried the Brussels sprouts with bacon and wow!! All in all everything was delicious and the service was excellent. Will go back again.

The experience from start to finish remains above scale and top notch. Our server and experience partner (A R) delivered an exceptional & remarkable experience. She welcomed us and remained engaged to deliver the expectations of Capital Grille. She has pride in her work & her craft. It was packed last night. The “refined” dress code seemed more flexible than normal. However, I welcome a diverse atmosphere.

Just wow! This place is exquisite! The service was top notch, our waitress was Lana, and she was very on top of things and personable. And, of course, the food was absolutely fabulous. I would highly recommend the brussel sprouts, and we had some of their cheesecake, which tasted like a kind of a cross between cheesecake and creme brulee. As someone who doesn't typically get excited about either of those, this was somehow one of the best things I've ever eaten.

If Capital Grille has taught me anything, it would be that looks can be deceiving. My husband and I made reservations tonight for our 1st wedding anniversary. We only get one, and we wanted to make it a memorable experience, and we have only hear great things about Capital Grille and we decided this was the place to make a lasting memory. We were immediately greeted with a thoughtfully displayed table, complete with heart confetti and a signed anniversary card. Great start to the experience. Our server came over and explained the specials, as well as the extensive wine list. He tried very hard to sell us wine and cocktails, but I am 6 months pregnant, so we declined. We ordered the prosciutto wrapped mozzarella and lobster and crab cake appetizers. I wasn’t a fan of the mozzarella, but my husband loved it, and I very much loved the crab cake. It was my favorite part of the whole meal. I was there for filet mignon, and the waiter talked me into the special, bone-in filet. I expressed that I am picky with my steak and he convinced me the bone-in would add more flavor and that it was his second favorite cut of steak on the menu. So I opted for it. My husband got the ribeye, and we got mashed potatoes and creamed spinach for the table. When our food came, it all looked fantastic. I was immediately thrown off by the filet, as half of it was medium (as ordered) and the other half was well done, but we were told that’s how bone-in steaks are cooked. All of our food was extremely bland. Nothing was seasoned, nothing tasted good, and it definitely was not worth the price tag. As someone who enjoys a good filet regularly, I was barely able to choke down half of my dinner. We didn’t see our waiter again the rest of dinner service. A bus boy came and took our plates, which were clearly still half full, and no one wondered why we didn’t finish our meals. Our server came by after we had a cleared table for about 15 minutes and brought us a complimentary anniversary dessert. As someone who does not eat dark chocolate, we didn’t touch this either. He then brought our check and that was it. All in all, it was not a good experience and was definitely not worth the price. I can’t remember the last time I left a restaurant hungry. We won’t be going back. The pictures look lovely, and I really do wish the food tasted as good as it looked.

The excellent food, service, and atmosphere of The Capital Grille makes it one of my favorite steakhouses in Jax. My favorite dishes are their fried calamari, bone-in Kona steak with butter, creamed spinach, and onion bread. I order the steaks medium rare they come out perfect! Today I tried their 10 oz fillet.

My wife & I had dined here on Thanksgiving evening as we were passing through JAX on our way to visit family. We had a phenomenal experience. The service was wonderful & the food was fantastic. Eric was our primary server, accompanied by Anthony & team. They were extremely professional, personable, & knowledgeable. We look forward to dining here again when we are in JAX again!

This is where we eat each year on Christmas Eve before we head to church. This year, Eric was our server, and he was exceptional. I felt like I was his only guest. His suggestion of the coconut can pie was life changing. We crave that dessert on a regular basis. The food is delicious, well prepared & plated beautifully. I have to say, though, Eric made this experience & holiday very memorable.
