Friendly server. , glass of sweet tea was always filled. Steaks were great tasting and cooked just right. We got medium well.. and was not raw or too dry. Good home made collard greens, beans, and rolls. Only thing not too good to me and .y wife was the rice.. a little soft..but every one makes rice different. We would come back again if we come down from VA. again.

If you’re looking for a place that combines hearty Southern comfort food with the smoky allure of barbecue, Cross Creek BBQ and Steakhouse is a must-visit. My recent dining experience here was nothing short of exceptional, leaving me with a full stomach and a satisfied smile. From the warm, rustic ambiance to the flavorful dishes, this restaurant truly delivers on its promise of quality barbecue and steakhouse classics. **Ambiance and Atmosphere** Walking into Cross Creek BBQ and Steakhouse, I was immediately struck by the cozy, down-to-earth vibe. The decor is a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern touches, with wooden accents, vintage signage, and soft lighting that creates a welcoming atmosphere. Whether you’re dining with family, friends, or even on a casual date, the setting feels just right—relaxed yet polished. **The Food** The star of the show, of course, is the food. Cross Creek BBQ and Steakhouse excels in delivering bold, smoky flavors that barbecue lovers crave. Here’s a breakdown of what I enjoyed: 1. **French Onion Soup**: This classic dish was executed to perfection. The French Onion Soup was rich and deeply flavorful, with a savory beef broth that had been slow-cooked to develop its full depth. Topped with a generous layer of melted, bubbly cheese and a slice of toasted baguette, every spoonful was a comforting blend of sweet caramelized onions, savory broth, and gooey cheese. It was the perfect starter to warm me up and set the stage for the rest of the meal. 2. **Burnt Ends with Fries**: The burnt ends were a barbecue lover’s dream. These succulent, caramelized chunks of brisket were packed with smoky flavor and had the perfect balance of crispy bark and tender meat. Each bite was a burst of savory goodness, and the portion size was generous. The fries on the side were crispy, golden, and seasoned just right—a classic accompaniment that complemented the richness of the burnt ends. 3. **Fried Okra with Ranch**: The fried okra was a delightful Southern treat. Lightly battered and fried to a perfect crisp, the okra retained its natural flavor and texture without being greasy. Served with a cool, creamy ranch dressing, it was a refreshing contrast to the smoky, savory flavors of the other dishes. This side dish was a testament to the restaurant’s ability to elevate simple ingredients into something truly special. **Service** The service at Cross Creek BBQ and Steakhouse was top-notch. The staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. Our server made excellent recommendations and ensured that our dining experience was seamless. The food arrived promptly, and the presentation was thoughtful, reflecting the care that goes into every dish. **Overall Impression** Cross Creek BBQ and Steakhouse is a gem for anyone who appreciates well-executed barbecue and hearty, flavorful meals. The French Onion Soup was a comforting and classic starter, while the burnt ends and fried okra showcased the restaurant’s mastery of classic Southern and barbecue fare. The combination of great food, a welcoming atmosphere, and excellent service makes this a restaurant I’ll definitely return to. If you’re in the mood for a satisfying meal that hits all the right notes, Cross Creek BBQ and Steakhouse is the place to be. Whether you’re a barbecue aficionado or just someone looking for a comforting, flavorful meal, this restaurant won’t disappoint. **Rating: 8.5/10** Highly recommended!

We stopped by Cross Creek as we were on that side of town to pick up a few to-go orders. Hostess service is excellent. We observed the hostesses pleasantly greeting and complimenting customers as they came in. One hostess offered us drinks while we waited for our food. As for our order, unfortunately it was not correct and we didn't discover this until we got home. Our order of fries was missing, the celery was missing for both wing orders and we asked for a plain cheeseburger for our son and it came fully loaded. Took a star off for the order errors.

Service was so very very very slow. Everything came out barely luke warm. It was tasty and would have been great if it was actually hot.

Fried green tomatoes were mush in the middle, food is way over priced, steak is definitely not worth the money 30.00 for a horrible tasting steak. Bbq sampler is 29.00 the only think edible on there was the ribs. The bbq sauce is trash, salad was brown. Very disappointing at least my dogs will be happy. Garbage on the floor seats were not clean. Never again Server was on her phone instead of doing her job

Our waitress was keeping up with the jokes. Food was on point. The thick grilled porkchop was cooked to perfection. Dine in was great. Oh and their sweet tea...well, they got it down

A local had been wanting to check the place out, so we went with them. Unfortunately, we weren't able to stay and dine in; we wanted to make it to the park in time to watch the sunset. I think I would have enjoyed the dine-in experience more. It has quite an atmosphere going on. Some of the taxidermy and decor is a bit dusty, but I wish I could have stayed to check it out. I ordered the chicken-fried-steak, and that was a mistake. It was gristly, fatty, and hard to chew. I actually didn't finish it and threw some of it out, something I really hate to do. Having to eat it and the mashed potatoes and gravy out of Styrofoam containers at the park was just terrible. Don't order the chicken-fried-steak to go. The fried green tomatoes, pickles, and jalapeños were good. I'd recommend them. Out of my entire 3 day experience in Florida, this was the worst and depresses me a little to think back on it.

Cross Creek was recommended by the front desk staff at our hotel. We were not disappointed! The food was delicious, and our server was friendly. If I had one complaint it would be that the brisket was chewy. It definitely wasn't tender, but the flavor was spot on. We ordered the corn nuggets appetizer, the brisket burger with fries and added a side of mac & cheese. The corn nuggets were our favorite...so good! Everything else was A+. Brisket an A-. If we're ever in the area again, we would come back.
