Gs is the best, and G himself is down to earth dude who's very respectful and friendly. He made sure we enjoyed and we're all set and didn't need anything else. It's always a great vibe in there.

Local community staple that has pretty good sandwiches. Service is always speedy and very friendly. I got a BLT that was just OK. Adding the sauce gave it some flavor but otherwise it was pretty basic - not toasted no salt no pepper. I’d recommend their Philly cheesesteaks which they’re more popular for, but definitely suggest giving it a try if you’re in the area.

I like trying places and I'm glad I gave this place a chance. We got the Southwest Steak Philly, G's Steak, Crab Fries, and a Chocolate Chip Cookie. Overall the Southwest Steak Philly was amazing! The Chocolate Chip Cookie 🍪 was amazing! My brother can't stop talking about it. The G's Steak was ok, it was good but missing something. I had it the way it's on the menu, nothing extra or less because I wanted to try it how it was on the menu. The Crab Fries were just crinkle fries with Old Bay. I'm from Maryland so those would be just old bay fries and Crab Fries would have actual crab on them but again I'm from Maryland so it might just be a different thing here. I will say though the G SAUCE... Was what made the G's Steak and the Crab Fries delicious. I got some of the sauce on the side maybe next time I'll ask for it on the G's Steak. They do have an option for the fries to come with the sauce on them but I didn't choose that because again I wanted to try them how they come. Now as far as the service goes it was excellent! I'm really glad I wasn't talked to on the phone with an attitude and I was welcomed with a smile. I didn't sit and eat there because I was exhausted and it was a quick trip to Connecticut but I would definitely sit and eat there another time. Overall I would go back and I would recommend it to anyone who likes giving places a try.

This place is clean and sterile which is incredibly hard to find in Hartford. Parking in the back and unlike the rest of Hartford, it’s clean, litter free and not crawling with heroine and crack addicts. The menu is simple and staff are friendly. Sandwich was very good and they got the roll correct. Soft roll but still holds together just fine. Much better than the places that sell the oven baked grinders with the crunchy, chewy beef all dried up. I will definitely return. Plenty of napkins needed, plenty of napkins given.

I got a cheese steak added mushrooms & created my own burger with onion rings for $37 dollars. Immediately the price was a bit off. The food was oily and barely had any seasoning/flavor. Quite the dysfunction at the restaurant. Tried to add our own flavor at home. Would I go again… idk

From my personal experience I really think the place is nice meaning the space and clean wise. Food overall was good sandwiches and the cheese fries on point. A Lil bit greasy the bread but that's because it gets toasted at the flat top grill. Service was great very friendly and respectful and helpful also 👍🏼.

Hands down this place is phenomenal. Get yourself a delicious fresh cheese steak or grinder. Even wraps. Amazing customer service, and a great space. This place is dishing out delicious food in the city, a well worth drive when you have a craving or an amazing lunch spot . I can’t wait to come back for more!

Outstanding cheesesteak. You won't go wrong here. Everything was on point. The flavor of the cheese steak was out of this world. The roll is great, so many places forget to use good quality bread. G's nailed it. Fries were perfect, Customer service was wonderful, very polite and accommodating.
