While steakhouses aren't typically my preferred dining choice, I was exceptionally impressed with the variety of offerings at the palm. Our large group was accommodated in a private, glass-enclosed room, a unique and visually appealing space that provided an unobstructed view of the surrounding D.C. streets. The staff efficiently managed our sizable party, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable dining experience, which was particularly noteworthy. I opted for the fish, which proved to be surprisingly delicious. For dessert, the donuts with dipping sauces were a great conclusion to the meal.

I decided to try The Palm restaurant for my birthday in 2022. I had always seen the restaurant as a setting in movies. I enjoyed the cartoonish photos displayed on the wall. How exciting I was to know that we had one in Washington, D.C. area, so I made a reservation. I now see why it was so popular in the 1980s. The restaurant did not miss the artwork as there were loads of framed sketches displayed on the walls. The restaurant was pretty busy, but my server, Bobby, was very attentive, polite, and curteous. I was seated at a booth, even though it was only me. I had a great view of the restaurant. I ordered my trusty go-to lemon drop and an appetizer of calamari, served with green and red peppers, and a maranira sauce. I had to hold fast on eating them all because they were so good. I wanted room for my main course! Oh ☝🏼, they also came with a side of tartar sauce, but I didn't need it. For my main course, I ordered the lamb chops with a brandy peppercorn sauce. Check alert💰: This place is alacart. I ordered the broccoli rabe, which was seasoned with garlic. I ate EVERYTHING! No dessert even though it was my birthday. But they do have a dessert menu. It was such a great experience, which I highly recommend 🥳.

Enjoyed an amazing dinner. Everyone knows this place knows how to do it right. Gina got us set up with a great table. Fernando was an amazing server and Ramon backed him up and took care of him. Listen, if you're coming to DC and want to really have a special time with an amazing meal this is THE PLACE to come. I enjoyed the Bone in Ribeye while the wife had the Palm Duo of steak and lobster. Truly amazing dishes. The service is bar none top-of-notch. The key lime pie was great! Treat yourself, you deserve the best. Come to The Palm.

The overall experience was fine. However, if I am going to pay close to $40 for bolognese, I would expect that the experience would be more than fine. The food was generally good but not worth the excessive pricing. This would be forgiven if my party had good service; however, our waiter was overall very blunt and short with us all, rushing several members to make decisions. Further, he also had limited respect for personal space and was rude to everyone in my party.

My family ate at The Palm last night to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. The food was delicious, but this review is about our waiter, Reggie. This man was amazing! He was very knowledgeable about menu items, but that’s only the beginning. Reggie made sure our every need was met. He knew what we needed before we did! He was funny and fun yet professional. We actually looked forward to him checking on us, not because we needed something, because he made sure we never did, but because he made our dining experience so much better! His smile never left his face and it was so genuine. He definitely helped make my daughter’s birthday a memorable one. Never ever let that gem of a man go! You’re very lucky to have him! Lastly, the other staff that served our table were fantastic. My daughter drinks water like it’s going out of style. The second she finished her glass of water, it was refilled. Not sure how they did it! Love The Palm!

I was there last night for dinner with my wife and daughter for my daughter’s birthday. The food was great as always but what really stood out last night was the phenomenal service by our server Reggie! Reggie was very cheerful, attentive, and did a fantastic job for us from start to finish! We will be sure to ask for him again any time we are back in DC at the Palm.

We recently had our wedding reception and dinner at The Palm. Event Planner, Melinda R. and her team of seasoned servers made our special day an occasion to remember for a lifetime and then some! In the months prior to the event, Melinda was amazing to work with throughout the planning process. She anticipated our needs before we had to even ask and also promptly followed up with us whenever we did have a question or concern. We had shopped several venues around the city for this event and immediately noticed a difference by how enthusiastic and genuinely caring Melinda was about our upcoming event. It was a true surprise and delight to see it all come to fruition on the big day. Every single guest touch point, from the entry and welcome signage, to the keepsake memento she gifted us, to the cake and set up, to the gorgeous private room and ambiance, combined with the exceptional, attentive service and exquisite cuisine left every guest who attended very impressed and joyful. Thank you for exceeding all of our expectations and making our day one for the books! You guys are the best!

What an institution…! Legacy dishes, and a vibrant atmosphere filled with a mix of locals and expense account executives. The walls covered with portraits and other paraphernalia of a history littered with contented visitors. Probably the best lobster bisque this side of the Atlantic and a serving staff who are knowledgeable and appropriately attentive. A must if spending some time in DC. Long may this place thrive!
