Randomly dragged her by a friend from Baltimore....on State of the Union night. The food was mixed of great and meh. Great beaf and seafood. Brussel sprouts were the only good side we had (broccolini, both Mac n cheese, bread was ok I guess). The cocktails were spot on. I probably wouldn't go back unless it was for a good reason.

Tessa was absolutely amazing!!! She was very knowledgeable of the menu, advised me on how to get points for our meal that day plus future meals! She was amazing with our kids, very professional, cordial, and personable! Of course the food was amazing!!! 10/10! We will definitely be returning to Joe’s! Also, special thanks to Daniel, the manager! Also professional, cordial, and personable. I called ahead to advise we may be running late due to our White House tour, and he assured us we would be good to go and not lose our reservation. Daniel was kind enough to stop by our table to ensure we arrived and were taken care of! The service and food at Joes’s is impeccable! Can’t wait to return for happy hour!

We enjoyed a great dinner at Joe's. We were able to get a last-minute reservation while in town for one night. The food was excellent, but the service was top-notch, and I would give our server, Jeffery, 10 stars if I could. First, they were extremely accommodating with my extensive food allergies. My son and husband have no food allergies, so they got to enjoy a lot more than me. I opted for the grilled seafood platter that came with scallops, lobster, and shrimp and for a side sautted mushrooms. Everything was made gluten-free, also dairy, soy, peanut, and treenut free. It was hearty and delicious and I don't often enjoy a meal so much, especiallyseafood. It's hard to find places that can accommodating me. My son got filet with crab Oscar and my husband a ribeye with bearnaise. They shared a mashed potatoe and a lobster mac. Jeffery was attentive and funny, and we enjoyed his stories. It made the experience even better. We are looking forward to eating there again next time we are in town.

Amazing food, seriously everything on this menu is delicious. The atmosphere around the bar is definitely lively and it feels like the professional fun dc scene. The dining room is quieter and mostly caters to business/date night. Also the service is top notch. Sat at the bar and ordered the ribeye, crab cake and potatoes. I don’t know what to say, everything was just so good and I wanna come back all the time but I can’t because it’s not inexpensive… and that is the only con of this restaurant. But it’s so worth it, so treat yourself

This place has amazing happy hour deals. Half-price drinks are always a win. It's a great spot to unwind after work. The atmosphere is chill and inviting. I'll definitely be back again soon.

Joe’s Seafood is in the heart of DC near the White House. It’s one of a few a places in DC where you can get good seafood and splurge. As soon as you walk in, it feels like you might see some one you recognize from the news. Turns out someone from the local NFL team was seated behind us. Shout out to Joe’s for accommodating an addition to our large party at the last minute. Your wonderful customer service was appreciated. Our waiter, Patrick was fantastic! The sommelier, I didn’t catch her name, was impressive. She kindly helped our colleague make a wine selection. Our project group lead treated invited our team to an impromptu, post-work dinner, which was so kind of her. She’s a foodie and loves family style dining, so to start, she ordered several appetizers and two seafood towers layered with oysters on the half shell, shrimp, Alaskan King crab legs and lobster. DECADENT! TheJoe’s mustard sauce is the best. It’s a nice alternative to the traditional cocktail sauce. I would say the next best thing to warm drawn garlic butter. We ordered a variety of salads including Caesar and steak and entrees ranging from lamb, to salmon to the king crab pasta. The food was good in general, although nothing particularly stood out as great. The desserts on the other hand, were delightful and DECADENT!!! We opted for a range of desserts from the Boston cream pie, to the peppermint ice cream to the gold brick sundae. The peppermint ice cream with crushed peppermint on top was the perfect seasonal sweet treat. The gold brick sundae was a chocolate sauce that hardened into a shell as it was poured over ice cream.

This restaurant offered a beautiful dining experience, complemented by attentive staff. The Manhattan clam chowder was a welcome warmth on a chilly night. Fresh and flavorful, the Caesar salad met expectations. The parmesan shrimp was a delight, and the spicy 🥦 was balanced by tasty fried potatoes. The Branzino was cooked to perfection, and while the key lime pie desert was devoured before being photographed, it left a lasting impression.

This was a birthday dinner celebration, and we had Leslie as our waitress. She was absolutely amazing and sweet. The place was busy, but she always had a smile and even made time to talk to the table. We felt very welcomed and never pressured to leave. The grilled seafood platter had scallops that were cooked to perfection. The Four Cheese Mac was bland for my palate. The filet mignon was good, but it did have a thicker crust, which some people may not prefer. They do provide a little cup of seasonings for the steak, which enhanced the taste. She recommended a dessert where we simply swapped the sauce. The peppermint ice cream with caramel-based sauce and hints of pecan was the perfect Christmas treat. I noticed that everyone worked as a team, making sure the table was ready for the next appetizer or entrée. The drinks are on the stronger side if you're more of a sweet cocktail person. Overall food was delicious and vibes were amazing. If you are dining and Leslie is your waitress! You will have a fantastic time.
