Other than the obvious fact they have amazing food, great management and staff…The ambiance is relaxing wether it’s packed and busy or more tranquil during the lunch hours and or beginning of one of the best happy hours in DC. They never strike out and always know how to make a regular feel welcome. Cheers!!!!

Just visited for my father’s birthday, we had a delightful dinner with delicious food and the perfect ambiance. Francisco, our server, was super sweet and attentive, answering any questions and providing recommendations. We ordered a couple of appetizers and the wagyu which was phenomenal. The bread pudding and the creme brûlée were to die for. The Ocean Prime team was extremely welcoming, continuously checking up on us to ensure we were enjoying everything and having a great time. Thank you, would definitely recommend the restaurant and Francisco.

OH MY! What a experience! After having a great conversation with Alexander the Dining Room Manager on the phone, he proceeded to provide us with what was simply put, the best restaurant experience my girlfriend and I have had. Without my asking, Alexander had uniquely decorated our table and provided multiple complimentary items to ensure a great start/finish to our romantic evening. After Alexander greeted and welcomed us to their establishment so well we had the pleasure of being serviced by Ted who did a fabulous job doing a breakdown of the menu as well as getting us settled in for the ensuing experience. Ted's friendliness/ charm and customer service while we enjoyed what was a terrific meal made this restaurant stand out even further from plenty of other high end restaurants in the DC area. Food enjoyed includes their prime roll sushi as a appetizer of sorts. The takeaway from this dish was that not only it was the best sushi we've had, but that it was the best you could make any item in any category of food... so basically we were at a loss for words. For entrees we both had their salmon dishes, king salmon and teriyaki salmon. The king salmon was perfectly balanced in its seasoning while the teriyaki salmon was as close to dessert as you can make it. The sauce was sweet and with the sticky rice it was a joy to have. Our chardonnay we ordered also was a perfect compliment to our dishes. The truffle fries were also something we thought to be better then most as the flavor was not overbearing and allowed us to fully enjoy them as our shared side. To finish everything off we enjoyed their warm butter cake with ice cream on top and 4 different berries accented across the plate. Having the different berries made it possible to enjoy 4 different desserts in 1 which I found to be extremely pleasing to mix and match. The butter cake was rich in flavor and moist in texture, a absolutely perfect combination with their ice cream from PA. Enjoying the butter cake with what remained of our chardonnay was the perfect way to cap off an amazing meal, experience, and romantic night as a couple. If you're looking for a nice restaurant to provide you with an EXPERIENCE and not just a meal of expensive food in small portions, poor service staff with no personality, and a rushed busy feeling... then you've found the place. You will not find those things here. Again, THANK YOU to Alexander and Ted along with all the other staff that took care of us. This restaurant provides what a fine dining experience should look like.

The bread basket set the tone! The pretzel bread shaped like a small baguette was additive! The smooth butter took it up notch! It war warm and perfectly salted w/ course salt. The drinks - ordered the Berries & Bubbles champagne, w/ berries and dry ice for a fun smoke effect! It’s a nice celebratory experience cocktail. The Lobster bisque and White truffle deviled eggs topped w/caviar were decadent appetizers that checked all of the right boxes; creamy, flavorful, luxe bites. The Chilean Sea Bass was divine!! The famous Butter cake was a nice way to celebrate a milestone birthday. And an even nicer touch was the waiter sending me home w/ an order of the pretzel bread to go and handwritten baking instructions. That’s nice customer service!! Thank you!! All and all, it was a lovely dinner, lovely music, delicious food, very good service and ambience. Great place to celebrate, splurge and indulge.

The event planner Ebony was amazing to work with and the entire establishment is a 10/10 for me. I booked a private room to celebrate an anniversary. Personalized drink menu, rose petals on the table, a tv for sharing memories and Bluetooth speaker built in the room to create the mood! The food & drinks made in 10x more of an even better experience!

If I could rate service as a 10 - I would have. We had the pleasure of dining here last evening and the service Tatiana gave us-blew us all away. I would hire her away in a minute if she was in Florida. She MADE the whole evening wonderful.
