I wanted to do something chill for my birthday dinner, and this was perfect. My girlfriend and I sat at the bar, Michael our bartender was attentive and funny. 😁 They brought out 4 types of bread, I love bread and I tried a little of each one, and the pumpernickel was ok, but I would pass. We had the lobster/crab cake❤️, truffle parm fries, no truffle flavor at all😬, tuna tartar👍🏽, scallops with risotto❤️, sea bass❤️, and he brought dessert when he found out it was my birthday🙏🏽🥰. A flourless chocolate cake, dense and eh, mini cheese cake, crème brûle 👍🏽with berries and whipped cream. We shared everything, didn’t finish anything except main dishes. I think for the prices, I’d rather be Wow-ed, but I wasn’t disappointed. I heard the steak is very good.

The atmosphere here is fancy, and the service is also very polished. Tables are covered with white tablecloths and decorated with a small lamp. The food comes out hot and well prepared. Everything we got was delicious, though it was all too oily for my palette, hence the 4/5 stars. There was a pretty strange interaction with our server. Both my partner and I have trouble eating large portions, and we ordered quite a bit of food for our standards. We didn’t end up finishing our entrees. Upon asking for boxes, the server aggressively told us: “You barely touched your food!” He turned to my partner and said that he was okay because he had eaten half, then turned to me and said I hadn’t even eaten half. It felt very accusatory. I’ve never experienced this at a restaurant before. I’m not sure I’d want to come back after such an aggressive incident.

Amazing food all around. CG is the only chain I go to. The quality is that of a 4-5 Star restaurant. I smartly made a reservation 2 months prior to inauguration. It was slammed. I’m a locker holder in Milwaukee so I got treated like royalty. Food and service was awesome as usual.

Nicole is an educated pleasant server who is more than attentive to the customers' requests. We were able to taylor our orders to our liking. The check-in hosts are friendly, and they quickly worked us in without having a reservation. The food was fresh and delicious. We shall be back Capital Grille! Thank you for your high standards and warm atmosphere.

Secondly, the service is exceptional; the staff are friendly and professional. Lastly, the interior design, which is both classic and vintage, is exactly how I imagine a great American restaurant should look. A perfect dining experience indeed!
