The pancake meal was fantastic and filing! The bacon was crispy yet soft at the same time, with a slight hint of salt. Best bacon I’ve had in a while. Finally, every time my water got refilled it was cold and tasted very pure. Love me some cold water. Highly recommend this place!

The food was delicious and you won't be disappointed with anything you order. The steak was very tender and juicy. However, I had ordered medium and it came out medium-well. Not a big deal but kinda a bummer when that happens. I also had the shrimp cocktail which was packed with horseradish and so of course I loved it. For those who don't like spice, just be warned.

Annie's is rightly an institution in DC. Had brunch on icy Sunday, we sat in the window. Service was very friendly, fun and slow. The steak was just right. All round - up beat, fun, good eats and a great atmosphere.

Super cute and lovely. Service was amazing and the food arrived almost *too* fast, if that could be a thing? Had a great meal!

Service was AWESOME. We had a group of over 25, and everything came out timely, hot, and delicious. BRAVO to the staff and especially to our server, who was kind and attentive.

I have heard great things about this place before I moved to this neighborhood and I was so looking forward to patronizing this place every night or so as a new LGBT customer. However, as soon as I came in and proceeded to the bar counter (on 11/23/24), I was snubbed by the bartender (the dude in the burgundy shirt) - he was solely focused on talking to another customer non-stop ignoring everyone else. I flagged another bartender in the red shirt - he responded right away but was messing up my simple orders (diet vs regular coke and burger with no cheese). The bartender in burgundy was still talking to his favorite customer after I finished my meal. Overall, I didn’t feel welcomed at this place - I was soo looking forward to my first experience at this place. I had a way more positive experience at straight venues welcoming LGBT customers. Alas, I will have to find another place to spend my money on. So much for welcoming to this neighborhood…It appears that this place rests on its laurels. I want to come back to this place but only if the manager trains personnel on customer service. In the meantime, I’m going to spread negative feedback about this place not only among the DC LGBT community, but also diplomatic one until this place goes down in history. My high expectations were totally ruined after I was so looking forward to visiting this place.

Annie’s Paramount Steakhouse is truly a hidden gem in the heart of the city. We were introduced to this wonderful place about two years ago by our late friend, and it has since become a cherished spot for us to remember him. The food at Annie’s never disappoints. They are renowned for their steaks, which are always cooked to perfection. However, during our last visit, we decided to try their burgers, and we couldn’t have been happier with our choice. The fries were incredibly delicious, and the burger was cooked exactly how I like it – medium rare. Annie’s is also famous for their martinis, but be warned, they pack quite a punch! If you’re looking for a place with consistently excellent food and a warm, inviting atmosphere, I highly recommend Annie’s Paramount Steakhouse. It’s a place where memories are made and cherished.

A Steakhouse That Understands Its Brand ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Annie’s Paramount Steakhouse isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a class in brand consistency and understanding your audience. I had dinner here with my wife and kids (both students at American University), and while I wouldn’t personally reorder the Bull in the Pan, my wife’s filet mignon, the ribeye, and the ribs were excellent. The fried mac & cheese was also a standout. But here’s what really struck me: Annie’s knows exactly who they are. From the laid-back vibe to the openly LGBTQ-friendly atmosphere, they don’t just serve steak—they serve an experience that aligns with their brand and core audience. They don’t try to be everything to everyone, and that’s why they win. This is what most businesses get wrong: They dilute their brand trying to appeal to everyone and end up being forgettable. Annie’s does the opposite. They lean into their identity, attract their people, and create a space where their customers feel at home. That’s what builds loyalty. That’s what makes marketing effortless. If you appreciate a great ribeye and a business that knows its brand identity inside and out, this place is worth a visit. And if your business needs that same level of clarity in your Google presence, personal brand, or content strategy, I help businesses get found and stand out... because if people can’t instantly tell who you are and why they should care—you already lost. 📌 Need help making your business unmistakable?
