The salmon was ... I had to take a second bite before I could say anything, and even then it was only "omg". Possibly the best salmon I've ever had. Everything was perfectly done, from the mushrooms with my salmon to the still-crispy green beans, to the perfectly fluffy baked potato piled high with toppings. And when the waiter says the sides are enough for several people, you should believe it, I think the potato alone could have fed a family of 4. Truly a wonderful meal.

My husband and I ate here last Saturday night for our anniversary. It was easy to reserve a table online the same day. Our server Taylor was great! She was friendly and attentive. All of the other staff was great as well. The bread they bring out at the beginning is so good! We ordered shrimp cocktail to start and that was delicious. The shrimp were huge, seasoned, and the cocktail sauce was so yummy! My husband and I love steak so we each got a 12-ounce Denver steak. It was the best steak we have ever tasted in our entire lives. It was cooked and seasoned perfectly. It was so juicy and tender that it just melted in your mouth. The mashed potatoes were awesome too. We were way too full for dessert lol, but we can't wait to eat here again!! It's going to be our new anniversary dinner tradition :)

We celebrated a belated Valentine's Day tonight. I was in search of tasty lamb racks. So, after scouring Google and reading reviews, I made reservations for The Famous. It did not disappoint! I ordered the Colorado Lamb Rack, and my wife ordered a butterflied Filet Minon. We also shared a side of mushrooms and enjoyed the crabcakes as an appetizer. First and foremost, the food was amazing. Everything was tender, hot, and tasty. Our waiter, Brian, was also on point. Very friendly and was not overbearing. We felt like he was not interrupting us and approached at just the right moments. So, we were able to thoroughly enjoy our meals and conversations. Brian was also very knowledgeable, and his recommendations were top! Our reservation were for 4 pm on a Monday and the atmosphere was very quiet and enjoyable. The menu pricing is definitely on the higher side, and the side dishes are a' la carte. However, the side dishes are meant to be shared. We definitely recommend for special occasion dining!

Food was amazing! The bread was heavenly, and I rarely eat gluten. Server was nice, though she still brought salad with allergen even after specifically asking for without. But we were okay as it was fixed in a timely manner.

This is an outstanding restaurant all around. From the time we walked in to leaving was the best experience. My husband and son are very picky steak eaters. They couldn’t stop eating their steak as they kept saying how good it is. The sides were also supreme. Our waiter was fantastic. He was kind and professional but still joked with us and had a lot of patience. I regret tremendously not making sure to remember his name, I would have loved to mention him here. Fantastic experience and will definitely go again when we’re back in town. My son is in Colorado Springs often and I’m sure he’ll go back there often.

All I say is wow. I wish I could remember my servers name because I would like to give her a shout-out. She was outstanding, kind, and helpful. The food was very good. Some of the best I have had. I felt the "add-on" lobster was a little pricey, but it and the main dish was very good. I will pay for good food and experiences. The atmosphere was top-notch. Leather seating, black table tops, 50's crooner music playing in the background made the experience. I do wish that there was even the most modest of dress codes because there were those in blue jeans and t-shirts. This is not a casual dining experience. Prices were reasonable based on the dining experience. Will be back when I am in town again.

Food was delicious, we got a New York strip and a Filet Mignon, it was PERFECT. Only downside was that our server was also single handedly running the bar so we didn’t receive the attention and service we expected for an over $200 meal.

Stopped in on a Friday night without a reservation. Was able to grab a couple seats at the bar and had a great dinner. Steaks were tender and cooked perfectly. Added the scampi to one and the shrimp were wonderful. Brussel sprouts as a side were great too and one order was plenty for 2 people. Non-alcoholic beer selection was only Heineken 0. Would love to see places like this add more options. Lots of great NA options out there now. Service at the bar was very good. Only thing we didn’t love was how loud it is. They have a gentleman playing piano and singing. It’s nice, but loud and a tough place to have a conversation.
