I very much enjoyed the ambiance of this fine-dining establishment! Unfortunately, my first time experience here was a miss. Our party of 8 was seated in a walkway to accommodate us. I appreciate the effort, but we were terribly cramped, and the poor waitress had to oscillate around a wall to reach each end of our table! As for the food, their renowned steak was disappointingly bland. The rest of the courses were fine, but of a common taste. We paid over $100 per person, but could have had the same meal quality at Texas Roadhouse. I had an old fashioned, which was delicious! Our server also went out of her way to make us feel comfortable and tended to, so not all was lost. Overall I would chalk this visit up to "things happen". You can't bat a thousand. I'll be back to try again sometime, giving them the benefit of the doubt for being a first class establishment with excellent customer service.

Service was absolutely amazing. Atmosphere was perfect. Our server was there for anything we needed. Truffle fries are highly recommended! The prime rib I got came out under cooked so under cooked it was cold in the center they fixed it right away taste was good very tender my wife got the bison said it was to die for it was so good. She also got an add on lobster said it was tender and flavorful just like she had hoped for. Then we get to the lobster Mac n cheese that I ordered. I’ve been looking forward to some good lobster macaroni and they ruined it. It was flavorless bland and honestly such a disappointment. We chose this place for our super nice dinner on our honeymoon everything was amazing other than the lobster Mac and cheese I wouldn’t pay $4 for it nor would I feed it to my dog

Food was great. The place was pretty empty, so I can't speak to the atmosphere and ambiance. I can tell you that I have a rather large family of 2 adults and 5 kids. One is an infant, one is a toddler, and the other is 10. Then the other 2 are older teenagers. With that being said, I hate getting auto-grat. like we are a large party. I take my family to Famous Steakhouse up the street and am given the opportunity to show my appreciation for the service via my tip.

We left completely disappointed with the food and atmosphere. We made a reservation well in advance for the Sunday after valentines for our valentines dinner. They sat us in a tiny booth that had a very tight walk way next to a rocked wall, the kitchen and where they ripped paper for the tables. They ripped this paper loudly multiple times in the hour we were there. We asked to be moved because of the traffic and the noise but they said they were fully booked. That did not appear to be the case with several other tables open and only a few has a reserved sign on them. Our waitress checked on us 2 times, our drinks were empty but she only came back when our food was being sat and only came to give us our check after making long eye contact. I ordered the strawberry martini and it was good, the sugar rim was a nice touch but it wasn’t very strong. For my meal I ordered the 12oz filet with white cheddar mashed potatoes and we shared the lobster Mac and cheese. I was immediately disappointed with the taste of the filet, it was bland and it was rare when I asked for medium. I expected more flavor and not to be so chewy. Also the steak knives need to be sharpened as I was shaking the table trying to cut the meat. The mashed potatoes were good and the lobster Mac saved the meal. The Mac was creamy and the lobster wasn’t overwhelming. My boyfriend ordered the 12oz NY strip which was by far better than the filet, it was packed with flavor and perfectly cooked. Overall it was an underwhelming experience, for the price we expected better service and food. I do not recommend this place and we won’t be coming back.

This was a wonderful all around experience. Our waiter Alex was great and very attentive as was the bus person Luis. I can’t say enough about the staff! The prime rib was one of the best I’ve had in a long time. I was hesitant to order the scallops but we got it as an add on and they were fresh and delicious. The sauce it was in was incredible. We also got a side of asparagus which was cooked to perfection. Very simple but delicious. One hint that Alex told us. Dip your bread in the scallop sauce. Delicious!!! We are sure to be regulars any time we are in COS.

Tried this place for Thanksgiving with a special menu. For $75/person it wasn't a great value (over $400 for four people), and the food was just okay. Service was good for our first time, and the drinks were tasty. Probably would not do the experience again in the future.

An expected consistent, great experience from this restaurant. Tasty cocktails and a wide variety of selections, all great in their own right. Edit: changing to 5-stars based on their expresso martini. I’ve had more at other bars and restaurants since this review, but MacKenzie has definitely been the best for me.

Beautiful atmosphere for dinner. We had amazing steak and the service was perfect and prompt. The mushrooms were a delicious side. Also, the chocolate spoon cake is the way to go!
