Food quality is praised, particularly specific dishes like scallops and beef tips, though some mention that menu items can be hit or miss, with some dishes considered overpriced and overly fancy. The wine selection receives positive feedback, especially during half-off promotions on Sundays. We arrived about 30 minutes before the dining room opened, so they sat us on the brewery side for drinks and appetizers and moved us when the other side opened. The service was excellent and the food was marvelous. They were very gracious about our baby too. The scallops were perfectly cooked. The chef walked around to check on us. We couldn't have had a better evening.

Hopped in 2130 on the Friday night alone. There were plenty seats and I was warmly welcomed by a stylish food. Beef tips for $19.95 was just a right size and very juicy. I would go there again.

Always a friendly, helpful wait staff. Love the fun cantina area and the more romantic dining area options. The food is always changing and are imaginative. Love the combinations of flavors that they come up with. Half off bottles of wines in Sundays are fun and gives me an opportunity to try some wines that I wouldn't normally buy.

My fiance and I just left the Blue Star. We had dinner and my fiance had a couple cocktails. She couldn't stop raving about how good her drink was. Our entrees were equally delicious, but it's the service we will be back for. We had a pair of delightful servers who helped us, both young women were professional and knowledgeable, and honestly just downright cool and super pleasant to talk to. When my burger came out, it wasn't exactly as I ordered. They took it back and both servers came by and apologized and claimed responsibility even tho it was a very common mistake. It only took a few minutes to get a replacement burger, but they took it off our bill anyway. They said they hold themselves to high standards and they want their guests to see those standards, and when they do make mistakes they want to make it right. Sadly customer service is an area that many establishments are lacking, but not Blue Star. Thank you Blue Star staff for a great experience, we will certainly be back for dinner and drinks again very soon.

Both the lounge and the dining room offer good food options, with a reasonable turn over. However, my favorite thing is the wine selection in the dining room, which is remarkable in general, and fairly unique in The Springs. At the Blue Star, you'll be better off if you are a carnivore, but there usually are alternatives. In the lounge, they serve great cocktails, and the fried calamari is a must. Very cool decor.

Such a cute little gem. The food was excellent, very large wine list, especially if you're getting a bottle, and the staff was the best part. They were so friendly and for me that absolutely makes the experience worth it.

Our server was fantastic! She gets the stars. Everything was overpriced, like another reviewer mentioned, "they try to hard to be fancy." Won't be back. If we would've known better, we would've eaten in the lounge area, because you can't get the lounge food in the dining room and vice versa. I highly encourage folks to steer clear of the "pickled cherries" served on the cheesecake. They were like a ball of vinegar. The bathrooms were dirty, and the a/c was out. We roasted the entire time. The chef was clearly unhappy with a young lady helping in the kitchen, constantly rolling his eyes when she said something. Pretty unprofessional, in my opinion.

I've eaten here 10-15 times since moving to town...the cocktail lounge has a good atmosphere and solid staff. When it comes to the food, they just try too hard to be fancy...and fail regularly. I've had pasta here that was cooked in unsalted water and soups so rich and salty I couldn't finish a cup of it. Generally, the food is overpriced. If you happen to sit in the dining room, you have half the selection. Typically there is no vegetarian option, or something like a plate of steamed vegetables.
