Customer Review Summary
Ted's Montana Grill offers a varied dining experience with notable strengths and weaknesses. Many reviewers praised the quality of the bison and steak dishes, highlighting the flavor and preparation of items like the braised bison and Delmonico Ribeye. Service received mixed reviews; while some staff members were commended for being friendly and attentive, others were described as slow and inattentive. Ambiance was generally appreciated, but concerns about cleanliness, particularly the condition of the floors and the kitchen, were raised by multiple patrons. The portions of sides were often critiqued as being on the smaller side, although some side dishes were well-received. Overall, while there were standout dishes and positive service experiences, there were also calls for improvement in food preparation consistency and cleanliness.

This was my first visit to Ted's. This location was tucked away in the back of the shopping area. Follow Google maps and you will be fine. The manager took time to come over a talk with us. The wait staff was a little slow but took good care of us. The food was amazing! I had the the braised bison and it was perfect. Tender fall off the bone and flavorful. It was accompanied by glazed carrots and mashed potatoes. I had the mashed potatoes swapped out for online rings. They have something called the kitchen sink burger but it is not on the menu any more. They will Google it and make it for you. My girlfriend ordered the chicken with broccoli and mashed potatoes. The chicken was a little dry but tasted very good. If I could make one suggestion to them, the floor could use some tlc. It was a little dirty and slippery.

We had a great time here last night when my partner and I went in for our anniversary. We made reservations the same day and were seated well within 10 minutes of our time. Our server Mo was fantastic, very friendly and was a huge part of what made the experience so good. The food came out quickly and the Canyon burger with bison was one of the five burgers I've ever had! The only drawback was small and it was that the portions for the sides were on the smaller side and the kale salad was really just kale. Would absolutely go again.

We came for lunch. The decor is great and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately the food needs improvement. My burger was slimy on a soft, chewy roll. I was offered a replacement but declined. My wife’s salmon was better but the vegetables were over cooked and had obviously been stewing for quite sometime. The onion starter was good as was the cheesecake desert.

Have been several times, they are unable to do well done on my Salmon. Well done means dry and yes overcook my fish. Always is undercooked. Service always slow and non-attentive. Improvement needed. Bring back the Turkey meal!

I normally love teds. This time I went out on a date with my wife and decided to splurge and get the $50 steak. It came out looking good but was severely undercooked. I don't mind it so much that way so I ate it anyways. The manager called me the next day and said he would send coupons in rhe mail and it should be 4-5 days to recieve. It has now been 2 weeks and still nothing. If I am going to spend that much money I expect my meal to be cooked how I asked for it to be cooked.

Their bison is on point! Of course their steak is as well, garlic parmesean brocoli was amazing and had such a great roasted flavor! The bison brisket was my favorite and the short rib texture was amazing. Can't go wrong!

The food is not as good as it used to be. We were very regular customers. For the first time we sat further down the bar near the kitchen and had the joy of seeing the absolute filth of decades of build up. It’s gross. My wife called the manager; David; and he defended saying his kitchen was clean. Won’t be back and we will share the pictures with our neighbors and friends. Good luck with your ‘clean kitchen. This is decades of caked on grime and dust stuck to it. I should have taken more pictures.

My husband and I had dinner for our birthdays last night. It truly was the best meal I have ever had in Colorado Springs since I moved here almost 16 years ago. Our server Jade was exceptional, attentive, friendly , and truly made our night wonderful. Oh my and the meal, amazing. From the cucumbers at the beginning of the meal , so refreshing, to our entrees, perfect. We hadthe Delmonico Bison Ribeye, med-rare, perfectly cooked and seasoned, very juicy. Sides of parm broccoli and roasted Brussels with bacon, divine. Also a Delmonico Beef Ribeye, same med-rare, so perfect in everyday. Sides with that, a fresh house salad, garlic mash with gravy and more parm broccoli!! That was followed with a shared desert of a seasonal apple crisp , not your typical apple crisp mind you... this was made to order, a bed of granny Smith apples, thinly sliced with brown sugar and touch of cinnamon and butter. Topped with toasted pecans and oats, possibly more butter, perfect amount topped with a great scoop of a high-end vanilla ice cream. I am a baker, this was just perfect. You could taste each layer of ingredients perfectly. Nothing hidden . This Chef is so very talented as well as all of the staff we came in contact with and observed. Thank you Ted's for the most amazing dinner . We will be back.
