Really a 4.5, but we can’t give half ratings. Ambiance is very nice! Feels fancy! Service was great! Very nice and efficient! Drinks were also great and appropriately priced! Cocktails are only $13! We got the burrata for an appetizer and it was AMAZING! Favorite thing we ate here. Definitely recommend! We got the bacon stuffed salmon and the pork chop for our meals. You must really have to love bacon to get the bacon stuffed salmon. The flavor of the bacon is very overpowering. It was good though. I ended up liking the pork chop meal more though. The pork chop was cooked to perfection but was a bit salty. The meals were good! Good portions. I would give them both like 7.5-8/10 ratings. The salmon was cooked well too! Mashed potatoes were great! And the veggies were cooked well! For dessert, we got cappuccinos and chocolate mousse cake. The cappuccinos were amazing! The mousse cake was mid in my opinion. We will give it a 8/10 as that was my boyfriend’s opinion. Overall, great place for a nice dinner out! We enjoyed our dinner and night here :) we recommend it!! Thank you kindly (iykyk). Parking is a nightmare! Bring a small vehicle!

Couldn't have picked a better place for dinner. The food was amazing. We started off with the Lobster Bites, and it was the perfect appetizer. Their Stuffed Salmon was the best salmon I have had since arriving in Colorado Springs. The Key Lime Pie was definitely the top dessert I had. Their Citrus Cheesecake was incredible, and had the best crust ever. Their Red Velvet Cake was very velvety and tasty. Their Tart was smooth, creamy, and topped with fresh fruit. It was impressive. The service was outstanding, and we left very satisfied.

Alex is the best server ever. Man made the experience fun and comfortable the entire time. My wife and I were having a great time.

Solid recommendation for high quality food and service. For an establishment of this caliber and price-range the standard for 5 stars is quite high. Having enjoyed our experiences at the Marigold Cafe and Bakery on Centennial Blvd for many years, we wanted to try the Marigold Bistro where Walter’s used to be. We were a party of four. The stuffed salmon was dry, even for my taste which prefers salmon well done. Despite the dry salmon, the dish was still very good. The other items we ordered were great. They gave us a complimentary birthday dessert for my daughter and Fathers Day dessert for Dad. Nice! Service was attentive and responsive, though approaching over-doing by repeatedly addressing us as “friends”. We appreciate the intent nonetheless.

We came here on Dec 23rd for our 46th anniversary. We got the steamed mussels and clams for the appetizer and got a bottle of wine. The bottle was $60 and was good but over priced. We got the seafood ravioli and the filet with mushrooms. The steak was ordered medium but came out med well. It was still good and not worth sending back and waiting. My wife liked the seafood ravioli but later that evening she made several trips to the bathroom as her dinner made a run for the exit. The service was excellent! I took off 2 stars because of the food issues and the cost. It is too expensive in my opinion for what you get.

Marigold Bistro is a true gem! The ambiance is elegant yet cozy, the service is impeccable, and the food is absolutely delicious. Every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor. The staff was attentive and welcoming, making the entire experience exceptional. Can’t wait to return!

Top service here ! Excellent food ! Walter who sounds very German is indeed from Austria . He’s worked and ran culinary fine dining his whole life and it shows. His chefs his waiters his service and the fact he’s on site himself speaks volumes. We enjoyed the oysters appetizers, the wine , and the garlic herb chicken was amazingly tasty onto weeping the lava cake with a string thick complimentary wine. The environment and music spelled fine dining yet was half the price leaving room for a tip to both the chef and waiter !

Excellent dinner outing for our first time here. Staff was very attentive; we had great service from our main server (Mario) to everyone refilling our waters and checking on us throughout the meal. Good deal on their prime rib special, plus we were very pleased with the trout, salmon, and escargot. Will definitely be back!
