I am going to be honest with you I was going to go to Texas Roadhouse but the wait was over an hour for 2 people right around 5:30 PM and so we chose to go to longhorns and I was so happy that we did. We were only waiting about 20 minutes and it was packed. The waitress was amazing and on top of everything we never had to ask for a refill and the food was hot when it came out. The food was really good and the portions were large and more than what we were expecting. The manager even came to the table and was just making certain things were good and if we needed anything. This place is a great place for a date or a family outing. Plenty of parking and even has a kids meals. I had the shrimp and lobster chowder and I have never heard of it before but it was incredible nice chunky pieces of shrimp and lobster with some potatoes and a creamy soup and the steak was well worth the price. I have nothing bad at all to say about. If I could give it more stars I would.

Our family visited this location last night to celebrate a birthday. Our sever (Naylenie) was phenomenal!! It was the Manager, Tia, that ruined the entire experience for us. I have reached out to corporate about the leadership and customer service provided by one of their Manager’s. It’s unfortunate that this used to be the restaurant that our family would meet at to celebrate joyous occasions, however after last night, Tia completely changed our view on this restaurant. It’s really unfortunate that the servers and hostess were making the effort to rectify the situation, all while their manager Tia hid in the back and wouldn’t come talk to us. Terrible management skills. Tia was so spiteful after making us wait for almost an hour, she finally sat us a 4 top with the flaps open… this table had been open and available the entire time we waited. She was really Unbelievable.

We came in to dine on a Monday evening a little after 6pm. Call ahead dining wasn’t necessary at this time. The hostess greeted us and tried to sit us at a booth right outside the restrooms. There was plenty of open seating all around the restaurant and when we asked her to be seated at another booth, she gave us serious attitude and made a very unprofessional face. She responded that way also to another 4 person table seated next to us, who witnessed her response to our request for a booth in a better location. That interaction didn’t start off our meal very nicely. Our server, a nice young man, was attentive and courteous throughout the meal service. He’d waited on us before and recognized us. My friend ordered the NY Strip steak and loaded baked potato, and I had the chopped beef plate with onions, mushrooms and brown gravy. The NY strip was over cooked than what was asked for, which the manager brought out a freshly cooked steak and loaded baked potato. My chopped steak was ok… it came out medium. However, the gravy was on the salty side. The wild fire shrimp appetizer was good… it didn’t come out piping hot though. It’s a deep fried item. The breading on the shrimp was very wet; it definitely could have been more crispy. My friend and my parents enjoy LongHorn Steakhouse… it’s definitely better than the other steakhouse options in Colorado Springs. Their food prices are fairly decent and affordable compared to other lower end franchised restaurants that offer steak and chicken dinner options. All in all, I’m sure we’ll be back.

Happy customer When you come to a steakhouse, you show up with expectations. A great steak is based on taste and preparation. We went to Longhorn looking for a well prepared steak. I ordered the longhorn outlaw 20oz. B/c I was really in the mood for a great big steak. When I received the steak it was a good bit overcooked. The wait staff and the manager were very quick to accommodate us and brought out a perfectly cooked steak, second time is a charm. The steak was great, I could not ask for anything more from staff and management. I will most certainly be back as customer service is a top priority here!!!
